I have the headcanon that Kyrie's favorite movie is Thumbelina 💕. So whenever she feels sad or down, Nero will softly sing or humming the song "Let me be your wings" to make her happy again.😊

O: are you spying on me--i was JUST mentioning Thumbelina in a convo to one of my co-workers who’d never seen it before;;;;

and, yo that is so stinkin CUTE and i’m 100% ready to accept this into my life.  BONUS POINTS NOW TOO SINCE NERO ACTUALLY HAS WINGS.

just imagine:  It’s just been a particularly trying day for her--even Kyrie gets a little down sometimes; it’s not easy being the one who’s there for everyone all the time.  Even her body language is reflective of it, a little slouched, a little offset; so much so that he’s able to notice in a glance.  And, without a care for how tired he may be, Nero would just wrap his arms gently around her and pull her back to his chest so that his lips are right next to her ear when he starts humming that lil sappy song he only remembers because he’s seen the movie so many times thanks to it being her favorite.

    Kyrie’s smile is so big in that moment, despite how her day has gone, all the tension and aggravation melting away as she leans into him; swaying back and forth with the motions of him gently rocking her.  It amazes her every time that this is all it takes to make her world full of sunshine again.

Something that icks me since I started my medical training is the portrayal of ECGs and Flatlines in medical shows and games

If I see another doctor shocking a patient going into flatline with paddles I will break down your ward walls and brick you in the head with the nearest piece of equipment.

You don't shock flatline, you do chest compressions until the heart is either starting it's job again by itself or goes into a rhythm you can shock into being normal

You wouldn't slap your CD Player if it stopped playing a CD that had jumps and jitters before it stopped; you slap the player when the CD is jumping and hope it goes back into a normal play rotation.

I will probably periodically ramble about medical stuff here as well now but keep it mostly related to FFXIV

(My justification for this ramble is my Omega Raid headcanon that Nero got shocked by Omega and had a cardiac arrest later down the line and everyone being a bit panicky about him needing a healer ASAP)

I'M ON A CROSSOVER KICK Y'ALL

So with my love for both KH3 and DMC5 showing up in full force, I've been having thoughts.

Biggest idea: Dante and his lovely ladies raising Kairi, Namine and Xion because my three girls need some love and I WANT KAIRI TO ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO FIGHT DAMMIT.

Like, I'm debating about whether they are actually Dante's kids (so Nero can have cousins) as Xion reminds me of Lady (looks wise), Namine of Trish, but Kairi is more like a mix of Nero and Kyrie, so I could argue she's their kid.

Honestly I just want an excuse to draw little Kairi on Dante's shoulders. And have him teach her how to use a sword. And have Nero freaking out that his little cousin is near weapons as a child while Nico comes up with awesome weapons for her, Namine and Xion.
