I’ve caught up with Love In the Air! I enjoyed TharnType so I have a high tolerance for those kind of shows and I was warned going in about these numerous consent issues, so now I can enjoy the wackadoodle plot, the chemistry, and the characters. It’s a fun show for me! Sky is darling and I love him very much much. Prapai is on thin ice (though the way he took care of Sky when he was sick was sweet). Phayu (Payu?) is a fun character and while Rain is a brat, he’s definitely interesting paired with Phayu.
What I don’t understand about the whole phone thing was that it would have been so much more romantic if, instead of Prapai buying multiple SIM cards and basically overloading Sky, we saw Sky unblocking him because he missed the texts (even if he never replied). Then we could get the scene between Prapai and his long-suffering secretary (who absolutely deserves a raise) where he says Sky has unblocked him and he’s even reading his texts! So we get Sky softening naturally without it feeling like Prapai is just stepping over his boundaries constantly.
