Another OOC tidbit about my writing while I am on the train to the city for an appointment. My grammatical style is really weird for most people who know things like standard comma usage, ellipsis and other really specific style things. It’s actually because of my job and the writing style my job requires. I’ve been trained out of oxford commas, use quotation marks and ellipsis in really specific ways and other small details that may make people go, “Huh?! That’s not right!” Even how I write ?! is specific to my job. And all right vs alright. And some other weird things...

Being a film major is the best! I get to write a paper on editing techniques used in Donnie Darko. I got to read a script about a guy who could travel through time with a sword and he had to go back in time to kill his past self before his future self could do it and then they ran into another version of themselves, and it was the funniest thing I’ve ever read in my life. Like, I started to get dizzy because I was laughing so hard. I got to watch a musical about a Japanese family trying to start a bed and breakfast business but everyone who stays there dies somehow. I’m so happy I decided on this major!

Okay no there are too many awesome Asian Studies and Politics courses available to switch my major exclusively to Chinese Language.

I'm freaking out cause there are so many courses, so little time this is the best hour of my life.
