i'm always so amazed when someone texts me first because that means i crossed their mind out of the blue and that i exist outside of my own thoughts and space and especially at times like first thing in the morning or last thing at night because i was important enough for them to pick up their phone and think "i am thinking about this person and i feel like talking to them" and wow it's just so amazing it makes me feel so good okay even if it's just a "hey" it's like the best thing in the world
