Hey, i haven't been on Tumblr much so I've no idea how this works, but i wanted to ask you something as a fellow entp.
How do you find interesting people? I recently broke up and now I realize how much I depended on that one person for mental fodder. Everyone seems to uninteresting. But statistically it shouldn't be so. How do you go about finding interesting people?

IN response, first, I always try to remember that just because I don't find someone interesting to me, it doesn't mean that they're not interesting. This helps me relax a bit and prevents me from thinking too absolutely about people. Not everyone is going to align with you (and most people wont), so it's good to step back and appreciate people for who and what they are--which is not there to entertain us, but rather to live their own lives, for their own purposes.
To find people who you do align with, just go out and do things that you want to do without thinking of people at all. Join a houseplant exchange group or an ultimate frisbee crew, and lean into hanging out with people. If you like some people or are having a good time in a group, lean into the barbeque after and see who else they invite.
You'll enjoy life a lot more if you don't expect people to be a certain way, and if you appreciate them for what they assuredly do offer! Also, replacing the comfort that we have with a significant other isn't an easy job--which is why it's important to have friends and to realize that no one will be a perfect 100 fit. It kinda sucks because like... as you grow people effectively know you less and it's more work to really know someone.
In conclusion, meh to adulting.
