You may not have heard of the French singer Nazim, but I assure you most have heard of his songs. He’s the author of Kendji Girac’s Andalouse, which has 240+ million views on YouTube. He also produced Amir’s J'ai Cherché, which brought France their best Eurovision placing since 2002. (Oh, you should totally check out Alma’s album which is produced solely by him)
Now that we established that this guy is super amazing. Let’s talk about his song. Pourquoi veux-tu que je danse is French for “why do you want me to dance?”. It is Nazim’s debut single as a singer (despite being the composers for so many great songs I just talked about). The song is super catchy and is just one of those songs that brings joy with a use of guitar and witty lyrics.
