I present to you- One ‘wet’ happy/relieved looking Hanji with her ‘eye healed’ and one ‘wet’ fresh out of her crystal Annie.
Now we don’t know why Hanji is ‘wet’ or where this shard is from. It could be from a future chapter or a flashback.
But what if when she fell, she unknowingly formed a crystal around herself, and the ‘afterlife’ was a dream or hallucination of hers whilst doing it? And if she got stomped on by a colossal? Well she’s as hard as a rock!
This thought comes on the back of a ‘Hanji is the Warhammer Theory’ that I have read, because as we know Willy’s sister controlled that from underground within a crystal HOWEVER I feel it could apply to other ‘Hanji will become a Titan shifter’ theories as well, given that Annie was of course able to create a crystal too.
I do feel that Hanji will be revived one way or another, it’s is just the how and WHY that we need to find out. I would not like Hanji to be revived and come in to ‘save the day’ as I’m sure that would not be very well received by the fandom and it would somewhat lessen her character, however the evidence/hints towards her coming back simply cannot be ignored at this point.
