Curious red eyes washed over the boy as she blinked in surprise, a sense of nostalgia rushing through her. Just who was this boy? He looked so familiar -- he resembled so much of someone she knew in so many ways, the words would not emerge, but remained in her throat as the golden lights of the Abyss flickered brightly around them.

Lacie cleared her throat, rubbing her arms a bit nervously. "The Abyss isn't a safe place for you to be in..." she started. Then, she took a step forward, taking a deep breathe. "I don't know who you are but...why do you seem so familiar to me?"

The boy was sure to know the whereabouts of her master, and it was obvious that he wasn't with her at the time. So, there was no probable reason for him to approach Echo out of the blue. Still, it was an.. interesting surprise, to say the least. Not unwanted, and yet not wanted as well. She was clueless on what to make of this. She had never even spoken to him without the supervision of her master. And even then, they would only exchange few words. Did he even know her name?

".. Master Leo.", Echo began, dull silver hues gazing to the noirette blankly. "Is there something you need from Echo?", he wasn't her master per say, but he was the master of her own master. Confusing, but surely if she didn't show politeness, Vincent would scold her, or worse. If he needed assistance, she would give it to him.

murmured the Dormouse, ever-so polite to the bespecled boy reading on front of it. The Chain bobbed into the library (as one does), curious to know more about this peculiar boy.
