I know, I kept talking about many members of the Scandinavian pop music machine, but I forgot to mention that Denmark belongs to that formation. Despite the fact I discussed a group from there, I didn't include that country among these lands. Moreover, they also had many participants on the scene, such as Alphabeat. Speaking of the latter – their pop might seem deceptively simple, yet look beyond the surface to see the science applied to their songs. For instance, the tune in the link does feel like a straightforward number, though you notice a multitude of intriguing things behind the words and the backing. To give you an example – the musical accompaniment travels us through a fascinating soundscape that somehow updates the past without sounding retro.

Wow! ‘Shadows’ is now up as no. 2 on Danish radio No. 1 is (of course) the glorious ‘Dancing With a Stranger’ and frankly, it feels just alright to be underneath @SamSmith and @normani 🥰
So SG and B created a production duo called THANKS whilst we were gone. This is one of their singles. They’re so freakin’ good.
(Also I’m totally Gif-ing this video.)
They’re back.
(And so are we.)
