A friend of mine has been running a ghosts of saltmarsh campaign and the party got me to draw one of the npcs!! this is anders solmor (as he appears in our campaign) :)

My players got a lil overprotective of their favorite npcs/love interests lol. More context/silly narration under the cut.

Me, narrating: “As you guys are planning how to infiltrate the sahuagin fortress, Anders pipes up-“

All of my players simultaneously: “Anders came with us?!”

Me: “…I told you this. He intends to come and help with the scouting mission.”

Mick: “Maybe we can convince him to stay on the ship?”

Cadence: “Oh yeah, maybe I can get Oceanus to stay too…”

Me, facepalming: “Guys, they have sidekick stats! They’re not as strong as you but they’re tougher than the average commoner! Anders has more hp than Mick!”

Mick: “Only by four…”

Mick surprises Anders (who is concerned about her latest scheme, long story) with a kiss, and Oceanus follows suit after prompting from Cadence.

Anders: “Mick. Please. You have to let Sam Wheaton go…”

Anders: “Mick. Please. You have to let Sam Wheaton go…”

Anders: “This is a little worri-mph!” [he is cut off by the kiss]

Anders: “Oh! Uhm. Huh. Cool! That’s cool!”

Cadence: “Well?”

Oceanus: “Oh! Umm…can I kiss you?”

Cadence: “Of course!”

[They kiss.]

Oceanus: “Yesssss!”
