Lana nearly knocks into him with how fast and hard she launches into a hug. Then she bounces a step back and grins. "Mister Majima? On the last day of school we gets to have a special breakfast at school and everybodys family is welcome to come! Will you go? Daddys coming! But I want you to come too! Please? Oh pretty pleeease?"

❛ OOF! you know, ya might wanna think about bein' a linebacker someday, lana-chan- yer a damn natural! you gotta remember, though- i'm an old man! gotta be delicate with these old bones of mine, little lady! hehe- nah, i'm just kiddin'! ❜ 'bout which of the two, exactly? he'd probl'y rather kick the bucket than admit it, but... definitely not the part about gettin' old (and goin' grayer)! but, if he lives to see a day where he's too weak to hug and hold this little one right here, have her feelin' safe, snug and sound... well, he'd rather close this damn eye of his fer good. don't wanna see it- don't wanna think about it! ❛ i'm all muscle! ain't i?! fitter than a freakin' fiddle! hehehe! yeah, that's me. seein' as ya asked so nice and all... how can i say no to grabbin' some grub and hangin' with my fave gal, huh? count me in, scamp! i'll be there- with bells on! ❜ pickin' little lana up and spinning her 'round and around. for now, all he's thinkin' 'bout is breakfast and how much he's lookin' forward to it. more than he prob'ly ever has in his time! damn grateful for this invitation of hers. for the little lady herself. the thought and feeling, the kindness and sweetness, behind it... yeah, this ol' ticker of his is feeling mighty full right now. speakin' of being full! what could be a better start to yer day than chowin' down and fillin' the belly up with some good food, company- the best- and conversation? with family? even if they ain't blood... what are they, then? a buncha folks who share and dig each other's company, lift and pick each other up when they're down, through the good days and the bad... he's no expert, but... sounds and feels a helluva lot like family- least, to him. hell, he oughta know as well as anybody there's more than one (or, a gazillion) definitions 'bout what it means to have and be a family! to be a family man... ain't just blood. 's bonds. memories... time... love. ain't it?

The android paused and looked at his own pinky. As someone who wasn't human he could easily disconnect his own finger without a second thought. "Please promise me you won't try to do so. Hank would be very upset if I allowed you to bite your own finger off."

She's at the park, sitting off to the side with her stuffed fox toy. But she looks up when another kid, a boy about her age, comes up to her. She's quiet and shy, waiting to see what the boy wanted.

“Have you no guardians that would worry over you being out so late?” His curious brown gaze watched the child, mindful to keep his head turned just so as to avoid the light of the street lanterns catching his eyes. He didn’t want to frighten the boy with his otherworldly monstrousness, as his eyes reflected light like those of a predatory animal. But he worried over seeing such a young boy wandering alone at night, even within the boundaries of the township. For what reason would a boy his age be compelled into the night? Would he not risk his safety? The night creature couldn’t help but feel a sense of maternal protectiveness towards him.

Saint had been heavily focused on browsing through a set of photos in his phone when someone started to speak out to him. Hesitantly pulling his eyes away from the screen of his phone, the man lifted his head to see a young lady standing beside him. One of his eyebrows tugged upwards, a telltale sign that he was a bit confused by her appearance.

“You gonna pay me for that second of my time?” He asked with a serious expression upon his face. However, his looks were deceiving as he didn’t really want payment from this young lady for asking him a question. “I’m kiddin’ - what do ya need? Directions to somewhere?”

The man hummed at the inquiry. Another instance of Lana asking something beyond her age. Children behave far too impressionable. It cannot be helped. Rather the people around her must keep their mouths shut. They give her ideas. However, Corvus had one answer.

SIxty stared at Mayson for a time. He had already left the area before the android could fully register this. Fanfiction is a hobbyist pastime for those who wish to take a piece of a work and add to its universe. He understands the definition but he does not understand what Mayson is doing with it. 

“Fanfiction? What ungodly fanfiction would this be?”
