“I’d never tell.” (@andlottie)

𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 as city lights and a musical giggle, Magnolia grasps onto Lottie’s hands. Their heads lightly bump together, but it doesn’t hurt. There’s nothing more comforting than spending time with Aunty Lottie. She could tell her anything. Mom didn’t like Lottie telling Magnolia some of the stuff she did, which is why Magnolia looked forward to their secret late night chats. While, yes, she was the baby of the family, Magnolia felt like she wasn’t babied by Lottie. She could be more adult. Have adult conversations that her parents might shy away from.
Magnolia checks over her shoulder to make sure Mom and Dad can’t hear them giggling like madmen. Once she’s sure the coast is clear, she turns back to Lottie and gives her hands a tight squeeze.
❝ This is why you’re my favorite. But don’t tell anyone that either. ❞
