He’s well and truly screwed up this time. 

Starr has been using Andre as a taste-tester for his newest products ever since he saw the knight get dragged into the pie shop by an enthusiastic Alan. Partially because he needs one, and partially because… well, he was very cute. 

Starr had always had a thing for stoic men. Damn his weakness to poker faces. 

But now- 

Andre blinks up at him from where he’s seated at the counter with a half-eaten pie in front of him, eyes half-lidded, gaze lingering on Starr’s body. 

I’ve fucked up, I’ve fucked up, I’ve fucked up, I gave him the wrong pie and now Alan’s going to kill me, is all Starr’s brain will chant as he warily locks gazes with Andre, only for the latter to look away and stare at a position somewhere below Starr’s eye level. 

Is he staring at my butt? Starr wonders giddily, but then Andre looks back at him and Starr feels his breath catch. 

“You have a very nice face,” Andre says for the third time in the span of ten minutes, lips quirking up, and Starr feels his markings burn red. 

or the au in which starr fucks up and accidentally gives andre a pie with a love potion in it meant to be a valentine’s day product, and has to go dragging his lovestruck crush all around Finsel to try and find ingredients for its antidote

Helix Waltz fans

From what I have read on Facebook, three of the characters, known as Andre Wolf, Matthew and Starr, are actually modelled after realistic idols. So I did a little research that found that these idols have the highest popularity in a show called Idol Producer (偶像实习生) and agreed to allow their image to be used for Helix Waltz so as to boost their popularity.
