“Shantell Martin and I met at a small gallery show she had in Brooklyn about 5 or 6 years ago through a mutual friend. She’s a London born visual artist who moved to NYC in 2009 and since our first encounter her unique style of free form drawing, which at once appears spontaneous and pre-meditated, has exploded to encompass festival collaborations, live demonstrations, public and corporate spaces and brand collaborations. She is currently at Art Basel in Miami working alongside none other than Kendrick Lamar. ”
