nvm i take back the first one i prompted. this one instead “wow i did not know that was A Thing for me until right now and i’m totally fine with that but for the love of god keep doing it”

The dinner has gone on two hours and doesn’t show any signof ending soon, much to Zeke’s abhorrence. There are only so many fake smilesand fake laughs that he can take before he goes out of his mind and that quotais almost filled. It’s taking all of his self-control not to deliver someback-handed compliments and snarky comments. If he and Andromeda don’t leavethis mansion soon, biting his tongue isn’t going to do anything to prevent himfrom saying something rude.

The string of angry and irritated thoughts swirling throughZeke’s mind is suddenly interrupted as Andromeda wraps her fingers around histhigh. He doesn’t visibly react when she rubs her thumb against his knee andslides her hand higher but his heart is hammering in his chest. A quick side glancetells Zeke that Andromeda’s poker face is even more impressive; she’s stilltrying to keep up with the conversation going on.

Her nicely groomed nails dig into his inner thigh and hesucks in a sharp breath through his nose. Zeke could swear that a smileflickered across Andromeda’s lips for a fraction of a second. Realization hits;she’s trying to get a reaction out ofhim. Her hand slides up further, nearly grabbing his crotch, and Zeke stiffens.It takes everything in him not to make a noise when her fingers curl around himover his suit.

And then her hand is gone, gone to rest beneath her chin asshe responds to someone’s question. Blood is pooling into Zeke’s cheeks…andanother place, and when Andromeda returns her hand to his thigh minutes later,he knows he’s gonna give them away if he stays at the table any longer.

With a cough, he excuses himself, hastily escaping the roombefore anyone can suspect he’s leaving for a reason other than a tickle in histhroat. Once in the safety of the bathroom, Zeke slumps against the wall andfans himself with his hand.

There’s a knock on the door and Zeke groans internally. “Occupied,”he says curtly.

“I know,” a familiar voice responds. Zeke throws the dooropen to reveal Andromeda, looking mildly amused. The door clicks shut behindher and she shoves him roughly back against the sink, her lips landing on hisneck. Her expensive lipstick won’t leave stains on his neck but Zeke kindawishes it would.

Too dumbfounded to really comprehend what’s happening, Zekelets Andromeda run her hands up his inner thighs. He throws his head back witha moan as she grinds her hand against him. When her fingers quickly and expertlyunbuckle his belt, Zeke finally grasps what’s happening.

“Are-are you serious?” Zeke asks as she unzips his pants. “We’re– oh,” he gasps at Andromeda’s touch.“We’re tech…technically in public.”

Their sex life was far less vanilla than a lot of couples, but this wasn’t something they’d ever done before. Zeke heart pounds at the realization that someone could catch them, and - oh, he had no idea that was such a turn on.

Andromeda pulls away to look at him. His pupils are blown,watching her intently. “Do you want me to stop?” she asks, even though shealready knows the answer.

“Oh God no,” he gasps. “Absolutely do not stop.”

“Who knew you’d get off on this so much?” Andromeda asks,knowing the question will rile him up. She did know he’d love this. Perks ofseeing the future.

“Fuck you,” Zeke mumbles against her lips.

“That’s the plan,” Andromeda says, nipping his bottom lip.She pulls his hand off her waist and guides it to her inner thigh, and then herhands return to him, figuring he’ll get the hint. He does. His fingers slide upunder her dress, slowly enough to be teasing but not so slow that she’ll getimpatient.

“Oh, fuck, really?” Zeke groans. “Oh my God.” With her lips against histhroat, she can feel the vibrations of his moan as she strokes him.

Sharply, she says, “Stay quiet, Zeke, or you’ll get punishedlater.”

“Yes, ma’am,” Zeke whispers, kissing her to help keephimself quiet.

Headcanons for andy/zeke, riley/kei zhar

sorry these took a while!

Andromeda / Zeke

When they’re going to EA they barely speak a word to each other but know of each other’s existence because of Duchess

Zeke thinks Andromeda is really beautiful but also intimidating and out of his league

Andromeda mostly just thinks Zeke is dramatic

When Zeke meets Andromeda because they both come from families of criminals after EA he’s significantly more confident and wants to at least try to win her over (though he doesn’t have high hopes)

He talks a big game before their first date but when they actually go on the date he’s kinda shy and really nervous

The date was apparently impressive enough that Andromeda agreed to go out with him again

Zeke starts learning sign language almost immediately after their first date

On their second date he’s way less nervous and pretty much stays that way UNTIL he cooks her dinner for the first time

it’s at his apartment and it’s a candlelit dinner and if anything he’s more nervous than he was on their first date

Andromeda finds it kind of endearing

this date is also the first time he uses sign language to communicate with her

When Zeke tells her that he’s a genderfluid boy he’s convinced she’ll break up with him on the spot (she doesn’t)

The first time they have sex is after the first time Zeke sees Andromeda fight. It’s not a coincidence

They’re both not good at gift giving like at all. Usually they buy each other ridiculously expensive make up because they don’t know what else to get

both of them have sexual relationships with people other than each other. One of their rules is that they don’t talk about it unless explicitly asked

when Andy first introduces Zeke to bdsm he’s really interested but really hesitant to try anything

he uses his safe word a lot in the beginning because he psychs himself out

Zeke tells Andromeda he loves her a few times but understands when she doesn’t say it back

Riley / Kei Zhar

Riley is initially attracted to Kei Zhar because of how mysterious she is (and because she’s pretty but the mystery caught their interest)

they spend a lot of time trying to get her to give legitimate answers to their questions instead of vague answers

honestly Riley was falling for Kei Zhar before they started having sex but as I’ve mentioned, Riley can’t do friends with benefits without falling for the other person

hiding their hook-ups makes the relationship that much more exciting for Riley

Kei Zhar falls for Riley too before she leaves the team but she knows she’s going to leave and doesn’t want to admit her feelings for them

when she contacts them again they go from excited to see her to angry at her to breaking down about how much they missed her in a very short span of time

the two of them end up just cuddling and talking (and at times arguing) for most of the night to work everything out

they start hooking up again pretty quickly after they start talking again but there are times when Riley will go several weeks without so much as talking to Kei Zhar because they’re worried she’ll leave again so they don’t wanna get close

Riley is aware that Kei Zhar is a villain but they don’t ask questions and they ignore it

Riley loves playing with Kei Zhar’s hair

Sometimes when Kei Zhar is on the phone with a client Riley sits with her while doing their make up or something (even though they should be sleeping)

they also occasionally have to cover their mouth to keep from laughing

“that guy didn’t even last two minutes”

both of them are honestly happy when they’re together. in a way their relationship allows them to escape their real lives

(belated) birthday gift for Hridi

Title: Fluency in Silence

Characters: Zeke and Andromeda

Author’s Note: @the-mind-of-her-majesty I don’t really have an excuse as to why this is five days late, but I hope you enjoy it anyway! Happy birthday, Hridi and I hope you have a really great year.

Zeke opens his eyes slowly, sleep still fogging up his thoughts. His gaze falls on Andromeda, lying on her back beside him, looking at something on her phone. It’s not often Zeke wakes up at an hour that Andromeda is still in bed. The clock on Andromeda’s night stand says it’s still relatively early in the morning, but too late for her to still be in bed.

Last night had been exhausting, so Zeke doesn’t blame her for wanting to spend a little extra time in bed. They’d spent longer than they wanted at a charity event that neither of them were particularly interested in, talking to people they certainly didn’t care about. They were greeted by people in suits and floor length dresses more expensive than the salary of an average American. The language they spoke was full of false smiles, laughs that didn’t belong to them, and words that made them seem better than everyone else.

Zeke did the same of course, putting on an air of sophistication that wasn’t his by birth right. The difference was Andromeda and Zeke were better than everyone at the party. They didn’t need to play up their accomplishments to feel good about themselves and they certainly didn’t need the approval of anyone there.

Andromeda kept an unwavering poker face the entire night, the kind of look that made people laugh nervously and steal glances to see if she still looked disinterested. Zeke knew she was having difficulty keeping up with the conversations. People spoke too quickly, switching speakers before Andy could catch where the conversation had gone. There were champagne and wine glasses in front of lips, obstructing her ability to lip read. So, Zeke carried the conversations. Andromeda’s silence made her more mysterious anyway.

Words fell from Zeke’s lips coated in sweet honey, delivered with a charming smile. He said everything people wanted to hear convincingly enough to have all attention on him without seeming like he was even trying. Andromeda and Zeke were a centerpiece, drawing in all the attention in the room. They’d arrived fashionably late, making sure they gained everyone’s interest the moment they walked in. Zeke flashed smiles that made people melt and Andromeda held her look of disinterest, gauging attention from people who wanted so desperately to please her.

In reality, Zeke was bored out of his mind and would do anything not to be talking in superficial tongues. He managed to get them out of there with a sweet lie about having to fly to Dubai early tomorrow morning, but not nearly as quickly as either of them liked. The moment they were out of the room, Zeke’s smile dropped, replaced with an annoyed grimace.

They’d gone to bed without a word, stripping off expensive clothes and washing off high-end make-up. Zeke had fallen asleep the moment his head hit the pillow, feeling exhausted in every sense of the word.

Now, Zeke feels rejuvenated enough to smile sincerely as he watches Andromeda for a moment. He watches the gentle rise and fall of her chest and admires the way her dark curls fall around her, complementing the red silk of her pillow. Her amber eyes are lined with thick long eyelashes that flutter every time she shifts her gaze. Even though he sees her almost every day, there are still moments where Andromeda completely takes his breath away.

Moving so he’s closer to her, Zeke kisses her shoulder to say good morning. She puts her phone down to look at Zeke, her gaze enchanting. The good morning she gives him is just as silent; with delicate fingers, she brushes a strand of Zeke’s hair off his forehead and out of his eyes.

Propping himself up on his shoulder, Zeke signs, <<I’m going to shower. Want to join me?>> She considers for a moment and then nods, coaxing a smile from Zeke.

Zeke started learning sign language when he first reconnected with Andromeda after graduating from Empyrean Academy. He doesn’t use it as much as he expected he would. Knowing ASL makes things easier when they want to have a serious conversation, but for the most part, Zeke and Andromeda communicate through looks and actions. There was a disconnect when they first met; they hadn’t yet learned each other’s languages. But now, the smallest shift in position is enough to tell Andromeda that Zeke’s not feeling well or tell Zeke that Andromeda’s uncomfortable.

Zeke turns on the water for the shower, letting it get warm. Standing beside him, Andromeda runs her fingers along Zeke’s spine, making him shiver. He gives her a smile and she leans in to press a kiss on his temple.

☮ - Friendship headcanon

Tammy knows she should be intimidated by Andromeda, but she’s really not, and finds her easier to be around than Duchess. As much as she likes Duchess, Tammy finds her a bit overwhelming at times (though she appreciates Duchess helping her out of her comfort zone). Whereas with Andromeda, she can sit in silence and do her own thing while still having the company of another person.

☠ - Death headcanon

Though she’s never experienced a death in the family, she has lost a pet, whom she considered to be family. Her grandfather, Abezola, rescued a two-year-old African Grey parrot when he was in his early twenties. The parrot (named Lulu) died when Tammy was 15. Given that Lulu had been in the family so long and was smart enough to hold conversations, her death was like the death of a family member and very difficult for Tammy.

who wants to have children? who doesn’t? if both do, how do their goals differentiate?: Neither of them want children. Zeke fears he’ll be like his uncle and he feels weird around children.

who is more adverse to physical contact?: Andromeda doesn’t enjoy physical contact as much as Zeke does 

who hates/dislikes their neighbors the most?: the neighbors assume Andromeda doesn’t really like them but that’s only because Zeke is good at being friendly and charming while Andie doesn’t feel the need to do that. 

who hates/dislikes their significant other’s family?: Andromeda’s family makes Zeke nervous but he doesn’t hate them. From Zeke’s stories about his Uncle, Andromeda doesn’t like him at all. 

who is most likely to leave when things get rough?: Zeke will leave to clear his head but he comes back a short while later

who thinks their partner turned out a different person than they thought?: Given that they first catch glimpses of each other at EA and then don’t start dating until after EA, their initial judgments aren’t entirely accurate.  

who is more likely to cheat?: Because they’re polyamorous, neither of them. If they weren’t, probably Zeke because he gets really curious and will act on impulse

who is the more experienced (sexually or otherwise)?: They’re both experienced in different ways and it brings certain advantages to their jobs. When it comes to sexual experience, they were about equal when they first started dating though there were some new things Andromeda introduced him to. 

who hates/dislikes their significant other’s friends?: I don’t think either of them dislikes each other’s friends but they aren’t comfortable around them or close with them (except maybe Duchess obvs).

who wants to go to social gatherings the most?: When he’s feeling well, definitely Zeke. 

who is most likely to be dishonest?: Zeke. But Andromeda knows when he’s lying. 

who is more emotionally closed off and how does this affect their partner?: Andromeda is and it actually does impact Zeke. He likes chatting and having the validation of people listening to him and empathizing with him. He has to find that in other people since Andromeda isn’t always up to that.

who is the dessert person?: Zeke

who is more conservative?: neither? i have no idea

who hates/dislikes oral sex?: I feel like it wouldn’t be Andromeda’s favorite thing

who throws things in a fight?: Neither of them. The only time would be if Riley blocked off their emotions but they rarely do that around Kei Zhar.

who wants to have children? who doesn’t? if both do, how do their goals differentiate?: Riley would like to have children some day but Kei Zhar isn’t as keen on the idea. She’s dodged the conversation several times.

Andromeda and Kei Zhar!

honestly all of your characters are absolute queens i just have to say that. But Andromeda especially. I have a lot of respect for her as a character ‘cause she’s so dynamic that most of the time I find her a challenge to write. And it’s not because there’s not enough info she’s just such a different character and I LOVE it. she comes off as cold but there’s SO MUCH MORE to her it’s beautiful. I would really love to see you write more of her in uncomfortable situations to see how she reacts 

Kei Zhar would be intimidating in person tbh. To chill. But like I love the mystery of her and her background. I’d love to know more about how she deals with her past mentally and also I want to see affectionate scenes with her. Basically I adore Kei Zhar and how glorious she is and I want more of her

Zekespat, his blood and spit landing on the face of the man leaning over him. Hisattacker pulled back and gave him a backhanded slap, the rings on his fingersleaving marks on Zeke’s skin. A low throaty chuckle came from Zeke’s attacker asZeke’s cheek started to bleed.

“Fuckoff,” Zeke hissed. He pulled at his binds, the ropes leaving uncomfortableburns on his skin.

“You’renot really in a position to tell me what to do,” the man said, looking smug. Heraised his hand to give Zeke another slap across the face when the door swungopen and slammed against the wall, causing them both to startle. Andromedastood in the doorway in all her glory, intricately designed guns strapped toher thighs and anger flickering in her enchanting amber eyes.

“Whothe hell are you?” the man asked, going for the knife at his side. Before hecould make a move, Andromeda had him knocked on the floor, the point of herheel digging into his throat.

“Yourworst nightmare,” Zeke answered when Andromeda didn’t acknowledge that the manhad even spoken. She pulled the man off the floor and threw him against thenearest, holding a knife to his throat.

Glancingback at Zeke, she asked, “What’s the damage?”

“Cuton my cheek, probably a black eye, definitely a fat lip, possible broken ribbut it’s probably just bruising,” Zeke answered, speaking clearly as he didn’thave his hands available to sign.

Andromedanodded and turned back at the man. Eyes wide, he stuttered, “I-I can give y-youanything you want. J-just let me go.”

“Youcan plead all you want, man” Zeke said. “She’s not listening.”

Withfire in her eyes, Andromeda drove her fist into the man’s face, making sure herrings made contact. Zeke watched from Andromeda tear the man apart from hisspot in the chair, trying not to get too turned on by her undeniable badassness.As a final blow, she bashed his temple against the wall, knocking him out cold.

“Doyou think that was a little excessive?” Zeke asked as Andromeda made her wayover to him.

Sheshook her head, “The only person who gets to tie you up is me.”

Zekegrinned, “That’s something I can get behind.”
