{MINORS DO NOT INTERACT}
The night surrounded her in a biting cold. She knew she should’ve been waiting in the campus library like he had told her to. She also just wanted to go home, to sleep. She didn’t want to be out of bed for a moment longer. The day was far too long for her, and he was late.
She pulled her jacket around herself as the wind grew a bit stronger. It was now that she began to crave the ease of driving. She should’ve waited more patiently for him to show up. She felt the chill travel up her spine as the only thing she could hear was the sound of the wind and her own feet on the pavement. The world around seemed more quiet than normal to her. Yes, it was late and there wasn’t really anyone around. All other students were probably fast asleep in their dorms, but this quiet felt different… off. Even the street-lights weren't even making the quiet buzzing sound they normally did.
The wind picked up again. It felt different this time, like sight was riding the wind. She turned around just for a moment, wanting to see if someone was walking behind her. She didn’t see anything. She shook the feeling off and kept on her path toward the dorm. She looked down to see that there was a shadow with her. She turned around again to see no one there. She shook it off once more, chalking it up to the multiple streetlights would mess with her eyes. She did pick up her pace slightly. She didn’t want to be outside any longer. The feelings of her surroundings made her too uneasy to walk casually.
A snap behind her startled her. She jolted as she walked. She tried to put on her brave face and keep walking. Another loud sound came from behind her. She couldn’t describe it. It was somewhere between a snap and a bang, but it made her skin crawl. She had to turn around. She wanted to ignore it so much, but she couldn’t.
Nothing. Nothing was there.
She turned back to finish her walk home. She yelped when she ran into a solid body. She screamed in fear when hands grabbed her arms to keep her still. She tried to twist out of the grip of the strong hands.
“Babes! Babe!” The sound of his voice broke the haze of her fear. “It’s me.” She looked up, directly into his amused eyes. “Scare ya?” He smirked.
“You are such a fucking jerk!” She punched him in the chest as hard as she could. She knew it wouldn’t hurt him. He tensed when he saw her wind up to hit him. “Why would you do that to me?” She cried out, filled with anger and remnants of fear.
“You were supposed to be waiting for me inside.” He reminded her.
“So what? It’s punishment?” She asked, still upset with him.
He chuckled, “No. Just proving my point on why you should wait for me, inside, like I asked you to.” She rolled her eyes at the statement as she folded her arms over her chest. “Oh, don’t look at me like that.” He kept the amused look on his face.
“I’m upset with you.” She replied quietly. “You really scared me.” She spoke honestly. She was beyond annoyed with him for playing with her like that. She felt her face heat slightly when she realized him sneaking up on her, messing with her affected her in another way.
“I’m sorry, babes.” He gripped her hand gently and pulled her closer. “I didn’t mean to scare you that much.” She nodded as he pressed a kiss to her hair. He pulled back with a lifted eyebrow, watching her closely for a moment. “Do you have something you want to tell me?” He asked, his teasing tone returning.
“I’m sorry?” She posed it as a question. “For not waiting?” She still seemed unsure of what he meant. He wrapped his arms around her waist and tugged her body tight against his.
He shook his head, “Not that.” She stared up at him still, not knowing what he wanted her to say.
“I love you.” She smiled weakly.
He hummed, “I love you too, babes.” His smirk grew, “But still not it.” She kept her eyes on his, waiting for the moment he let her know what he really wanted. “You liked me scaring you.” He murmured. Her face paled and her body tensed.
“No, I didn’t.” She replied. “It wasn’t very nice.”
“Then why do you smell like you do when I kiss you too long in the kitchen at my house?” His smirk grew to a knowing, canine bearing smile. Her stomach dropped. She hated that he could do that. He tightened his grip, “It only changed when you realized it was me and that you were safe.”
“Stop.” She begged as her cheeks turned red.
“Its okay.” He buried his face in her neck. “I love this smell.” He inhaled deeply, loving the scent she was giving off. “I love what comes next a bit more.” He teased as his teeth scraped against the soft skin of her neck. She nearly whimpered his name. “Wanna play a game?” His chuckle was dark and mischievous.
She pulled away quickly and raised her eyebrow at him again, “What?” He held her body tight to his and kissed her forehead gently.
“I’ll give you…a thirty second head start,” He began. “Run to your dorm. And DON’T let me catch you before your door.” She stared at him with her mouth hanging open slightly. “That smell is getting stronger.” His teasing tone and smirk told her she couldn’t hide her feelings about it. He dragged his nose up from the crook of her neck to the sensitive spot behind her ear. “You’re going crazy over the idea.” His voice sounded more like a moan. “Are you ready?” He asked when her grip on his biceps tightened.
“I have a question.” She nearly squeaked. He stared at her intently. “What happens if you catch me before my door?” His canine smile appeared once more. “Oh my…” She breathed out. “And at my door?” The smile widened and he pulled her pelvis to his roughly.
“You’ll just have to find out, won’t you?” His voice dropped to the register he would use in the morning when he first woke up. “Ready?” He asked again. She nodded quickly. He pressed his lips to hers gently, caressing the small of her back with his thumb to soothe her for the moment. She melted against his chest with ease. “Love you.” He whispered as he backed away.
“Love you.” She smiled that lovestruck smile. The one she wore when he kissed her first thing in the morning while they were in the kitchen, making breakfast and getting ready for the day.
“Run.” His deep, raspy voice broke her moment of serene love. She released him quickly and took off for her building as fast as her legs would carry her.
He watched with his arms folded across his chest. He was amused by how she didn’t even question him about the chase, just the after. He shook his head as he peaked at his phone. More than thirty seconds had passed, but it didn’t matter where he inevitably caught her, it would end the same way.
a/n: at some point i think i will put up a poll on which long fic to put out first. also, if you can guess which member any of these previews are for, i will give you a forehead smooch, or a prize of your choice. MWAH, have a magical day.
~~Preview 2~~
Summary: people who see us at our lowest moments end up being the ones who matter most..
Warnings: none as of right now, full story will change
"Can you stop that?" He brother grunted quietly. She looked at him confused. They had both been sitting quietly for a long while. "Stop looking at him like that." He clarified.
"Who? What?" She remained confused. He rolled his eyes as loud as he could. "What are you talking about?" She grunted at him just like he had to her.
"I'm not stupid. You're my sister. I know you." He kept his eyes on his phone. "You're looking at him like he hung the moon. You didn't even look at that jackass like that." A shit-eating grin graced his face as her cheeks turned pink.
"Shut up and mind your own business." She snapped quietly.
A/N: another idea that crawled up whilst driving home and listening to the sad girl hours playlist. let me know what you think, who it is, the outcome.
Until It Doesn't ~ Asakura Jo
Summary: every relationship, every plan always works... until it doesn't
Warnings: mentions of sex (nothing in detail), hurt/comfort (I'm sorry I just really like hurting my own feelings and in turn everyone else's too)
A/N: it took me way too long after I wrote this to figure out who it was, there was a hefty debate with my friend over it.
The laughter in the room finally settled. He couldn't even remember what had set them off in the first place. She wiped the tears from her eyes with a gentle finger. It was obvious to him she was still trying to catch her breath as she relaxed into his side. He wound his arm around her, pulling her closer. He enjoyed the feeling of her chest settling into a steady pattern of breathing against his side.
"The last few days have been a lot of fun." He murmured to her, resting his lips on her disheveled hair. She draped her arm over his waist, gazing up at him with her beautifully exhausted, doe eyes. "Really, thank you for bringing life back into this."
"Not a problem. I've had so much fun with you." She replied sweetly. She began tracing small patterns over his soft, sweat covered skin. "I have fun every time you come for a visit." She added with a genuine smile.
"I wish I could see you more." He stated, mostly just thinking out loud.
She shrugged, "You can come visit a little more if you would like. You would have to deal with my work schedule."
"I don't mind." The eagerness in his voice startled her. "What? I don't. I like the days I do get to spend with you, but I kind of want more." He admitted shyly.
"What do you mean more?" She asked, propping herself up on her elbow. He shrugged, looking away from her sweet, but concerned eyes. "Tell me what you mean, please." She caressed his cheek with he index finger slowly, hoping to ease his nerves.
"You don't ever think about this being more than a few days here and there?" He inquired.
She shrugged, "I usually just focus on the time we have when we're together. I wanna be in the moment when you're here."
"Is that enough?" He seemed to be more on edge.
"Tell me what you're thinking. Don't beat around the bush." She giggled softly, lightening the mood a bit.
"More. More than this. More than hotel rooms. More than midnight drives. More than meeting in secret. More than all the things that make me feel like maybe we shouldn't be doing this." He explained. She brushed his hair away from his face, gazing deeper into his eyes. "I suck at making promises, I know that, but I could try." He caressed her arm with light fingers, the same way he did every time they were in the same bed.
"What kind of promise would you need to make? You can come visit when you have the time. I'll try to not be utterly crushed when you can't." Her confusion deepened with his nervous words.
"Any promise I could make to you. Anything that would let you know I care about you." He explained, trying a little harder for her to catch onto what he was saying.
"Oh hush with this nonsense. I know you care. We're lying in bed aren't we? You're here." She smile brightly.
"Maybe, when you have the time, you could come visit me some?" He suggested.
Her eyes widened a bit, "Oooh, that could be fun. We can have a whole new set of adventures."
"The thing is," He began with his nervous voice all over again. "If you were to come visit me, I may never let you walk out of my house."
"Sir, I didn't start hanging out with you to become a kidnapping victim." She teased with a loud laugh.
He chuckled quietly, "That's not what I meant."
"Alright," She sighed. "Tell me straight up what it is that's on your mind. Stop stalling and get to the point of this conversation."
"I want more. I want you...in a way that's more than this." His voice was still soft, obviously shy about the statement. "I want a regular relationship." He clarified.
"Regular?" Her confusion returned instantly.
He nodded, "Yes." She lifted her eyebrow at him. "Calling each other at the end of the day, sleeping in my arms when you're just a sleepy girl, not because we've destroyed the whole room having sex, sex that doesn't always destroy the room. I don't know, just...regular."
"Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" She struggled to get the words out.
He laughed wryly, "If you want to put it in a blunt, childish way, then yeah, that's what I'm saying."
"I can't give you that. I'm sorry. I mean, this is great. You are great." She murmured, holding back tears. "But I really don't think I can be that for you. I can be someone that you love from time to time. I love being the person you love every once in a while." She inhaled deeply, not wanting to start crying.
"Sh, sh," He buried his hand in her hair, capturing her lips between hers quickly. He didn't want to hear her upset herself over his request. "It's alright. It's alright." He assured her with quick, loving kisses.
"I'm sorry." She whimpered, trying to escape the bed. "I'll just leave."
"No!" He grabbed her wrist gently, tugging her back into the bed. "You don't have to leave." She returned to her place in his bed, uncertain if she should stay or not.
"Why would you want me to stay?" She asked, gazing up at him with concerned eyes.
He brushed her hair away from her face, "Because I'd rather have this than nothing with you. I can wait if that's what you need, if you're just not sure. I can be okay with this until we decide it's not working anymore." He caressed her cheek with a soft thumb.
"That's not fair to you." She replied, gripping his wrist.
He smiled gently, "I'm choosing it." She reached up, burying her hand in his hair. "I'll happily live here in the moment. I wanna be the one you love from time to time." She shook her head before bringing his lips down to hers. "Even a single moment with you is worth so much. Everything can be perfect as it is." He breathed into her kiss.
"This is just a temporary fix for something that we can't not come back to." She stated gruffly after another moment of thought.
He shrugged, "We can come back to it later, but not tonight. You know where I stand and really, that's enough for me, right now."
"It still doesn't make it fair." She could feel the tears coming back to her eyes. "I don't want you to be holding your breath for something I can't guarantee."
"I'll try not to turn blue." He smirked, trying to soothe her breaking heart. She sank further into the bed, wanting to disappear from his loving gazing. He was trying to play off what he'd said. He was trying to minimize the gravity of the situation. Things couldn't be this "perfect" arrangement anymore.
i was so serious about the statement of having both this and my euijoo being a list titled "commitment issues". well, that's all for now. see ya next time.
ever had an idea for a fic that you were going to try to use for one member but instantly went "ABSOLUTELY NOT, it is for this other member ONLY" or is that just a weird me thing?
i wanted to post both fics i had worked on last night, but after being awake for 22 hours straight i passed out. i’m so disappointed. hopefully tonight! 🙏🙏
