Today During Rehearsal...
We are playing Amazing Grace and we were at a place where my section doesn't play. At this time one of the directors says, "Low brass, what dynamic do you have in this measure?" I reply (not sure if the director heard), "Rest." Because we have around 8 measures of rest and my sections just burst into laughter.
