The movie "Into the Wild", the character's journey, is both wondrous and tragic.

I admire Alex or Christopher's (real name) courage, passion and determination to go get and live the life that he had always wanted. He was an extreme escapist… whether that's a good or bad thing, I'm not sure.

The bigger picture was that he wanted to walk away. He was fuelled and driven to take flight and so he went on a solitude journey... to rebel from the norms of the society, to turn his back from his ugly pain and to embrace the beauty that the nature openly gave him. Because for most of the time, I think, he only found peace in nature as he lost faith in humans.

He put all of his efforts to the Great Alaskan Journey.

I'm happy that he achieved his main goal but the entire thing was more bitter than sweet.

He had no one to share what he had seen, he had been, he had felt… He wandered aimlessly, living without a purpose, and living without giving a part of himself to this world.

He realized a simple truth in the end, that "Happiness is only real when shared."

Same holds true for love.

  I guess, it's true what they say, when you look at the bigger picture, we are meant to LOVE.

To find something or someone that we can share our care and affection with.
