A girl’s night out was all the needed and Ava didn’t think twice before saying yes to Jenna’s invitation. It had been a few days since she had last seen Andrew and while - at least on her part - it didn’t feel like they were avoiding each other and just that life as always was keeping their schedules crazy, it felt odd. She didn’t have his number, and if she ha she wasn’t sure she’d have reached out anyways. Work was keeping her busy, especially after returning from her short leave, but it wasn’t enough. She needed girl time and alcohol. Jenna would meet her there, so her, Sara and Alice met up in the subway and went together, walking down the street with locked arms like they did in college just for the fun of it, all three dressed their best for the night.
None of them knew who was Jenna’s date, they just knew she’d meet them after a date and hopefully have something juicy to share. “If she’s not here in ten minutes, she’s definitely having sex.” Sara teased as they walked into the bar and the girls laughed. It was a Mexican bar they had been too a million times, it was usually they’re choice of place to do when they had a night off. Jenna had texted Ava telling she had taken a round table on the back in a more private section like she usually did and the girls followed. But as they approached, Ava stopped walking. “You have got to be kidding me.” She whispered to herself, lucky that the music didn’t allow the girls to hear, when she saw who was Jenna’s date. And who was at the table with them. Sean had his arm around Jenna’s shoulders and next to him three other guys were sat. Including Andrew. Jenna saw them and jumped from her chair excitedly. “Surprise!” She greeted, going over to hug them - well, Sara and Alice. Ava was still frozen for a second. “Hey.” Ava finally greeted her friend, hugging her and letting her take her to the table.
