GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have signed center Andy Miele and defensemen Aaron Ness to two-year, two-way contracts. The Coyotes also signed forward Beau Bennett to a one-year, two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The 31-year-old Miele registered 16-16-32 and 57 penalty minutes (PIM) in 61 games with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (KHL) in 2018-19. The 5-foot-8, 176-pound native of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan has recorded 119-249-368 and 354 PIM in 420 career AHL games with Portland and Grand Rapids. Miele has also tallied two assists in 15 career NHL games with the Coyotes from 2011-2014.

The 29-year-old Ness recorded 5-50-55 and 40 PIM in 71 games with Hershey (AHL) last season. The 5-foot-10, 187-pound native of Roseau, Minnesota has registered 43-208-251 and 291 PIM in 519 career AHL games with Hershey and Bridgeport. The veteran defenseman also has collected 1-5-6 and 22 PIM in 47 career NHL games with the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals.

The 27-year-old Bennett played in five games with Dinamo Minsk (KHL) in 2018-19. The 6-foot-2, 194-pound forward has registered 24-40-64 and 52 PIM in 200 career NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, New Jersey Devils and St. Louis Blues. He has also collected 19-72-91 and 48 PIM in 104 career AHL games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Chicago.
