Brief 2 - Idioms
An artist I came across on the social media app Pinterest was Andy Pitts, a graphic designer who’s simplistic yet striking aesthetics were very appealing to me. His strong, bold shapes and many variety of textures were brilliantly married in his pieces. He also had a strong knowledge of colour and its importance in his design work.
I sketched this particular artwork myself and even dabbled in lengthening certain aspects of it etcetera just to make it louder or even more of a spectacle.
An elegant and cool design but as I drew and continued my developments I realised I wanted a design a little more free and raw, more akin to my own method of drawing.
