The Rise of an Eagle

@andy-squirrel-the-adventurer Everything seemed to be going well but then all of a sudden something unthinkable happened. One who saved Equestria, one who defended the Crystal Empire from the Storm King, the captain of the Skyguard, the one as fast as Rainbow Dash was now...well on his own again! Well of course he had his friends but....the one he thought he loved was corrupted forever...her castle vanished into the abyss of darkness.

Rainbow Dash- "Here Soaring. You can have the spare bedroom for as long as you want.." she said feeling bad for him after all they have done shows together. Soaring- "Thanks RD...its just so shocking like...what has happened here. The darkness has taken her...away from me..." he wasnt upset just empty. Rainbow Dash- "Well...get some rest. Remember what makes you special. Remember your just like me." she said as she left him alone then. Soaring Eagle got his stuff ready to go but someone else was there too after she heard what happened too.

Andy was spending another summer on Bird Island to get away from the stress of the city. The squirrel had taken up sea shell collecting and she was on the beach digging for one last shell to add to her bucket.

Bomb was relaxing by the shore on the same beach, watching the waves over the horizon. Such beauty always gave him inspiration for his poems, and today was no different.

"Constantly shifting, constantly changing

The waves, they fall and climb

Nature always rearranging

Such is the will of time."

[ I absolutely love how Lunaris and Andy bounce off each other in their dynamic as Earth’s invader and Earth’s protector. I am hyped af for what we’ve plotted for them so far, and can’t wait for them to be at each other’s throats even more. ]

Basil and Dawson were taking a leisurely stroll through the square, talking amongst themselves as they were in between cases at the moment. No news was good news, as Dawson said. But... Basil had to disagree. Something needed to keep his mind at work to keep himself sharp...

"Basil, won't you please perk up a bit, old chap? It's a lovely day, and all is calm for once in a fortnight." Dawson encouraged, trying to get Basil in some lighthearted conversation.

"I can't help it, Dawson. Something's afoot. I can feel it in my gut! I don't often listen to intuition, but it has been nagging me since I got up from bed this morning..."

"Are you sure it isn't just indigestion? Ms. Judson's cheese crumpets do seem to upset your stomach more than you like to admit-"

"Confound it, Dawson! For the last time, my health isn't an issue-"

And now they're bickering back and forth. Someone better interrupt them before Basil throws a tantrum.

The day had only just started, and the commander was already tired. With another planet belonging to Lord Hater came the need to station soldiers, and it was taking longer than he liked to organize the Watchdog’s patrols this time around. 

Much longer. Yet, for whatever reason the universe had for putting a damper on his mood this time, the soldiers were being particularly difficult to keep on track. After driving himself crazy trying to rein them all in, he decides to take a break, standing nearby and keeping a very vigilant eye on the patrols.

Or anyone else that might try to cause trouble for him.
