Andy Knights
Despite spending his childhood in a small English countryside village, Andrew Knights grew up heavily influenced by skateboarding and graffiti. This combination has resulted in a unique balance between the urban and natural world, what his website describes as a “delicate mix of psychedelia and folk story telling.” Andy says his process “is a mixture of loose stream of consciousness, tight geometry, and dark narratives relating to the human condition.” This Los Angeles work, in the Gabba Gallery’s Alley Project #3 off of Beverly Blvd., reflects his often mystical exploration of “the hidden aspects of the human subconscious and the unity of all living things.” @brancheslikefingers @gabbagallery
