Where the Trees sing and the Birds whisper
It wasn’t very often Ali went out into the forest after dark. A rare occurrence actually unless there was something special planned for it. Especially when her other three friends weren’t home and out doing their rounds at this time. But there wasn’t much of anything special that the huntress had planned for this little adventure of hers. The cool night just felt rather...inviting.
She had grabbed a black scarf to wrap around her neck, knowing well that she got chilled easily and it would help keep her warm. Considering she really didn’t feel like getting a heavier coat instead of wearing her hoodie. It would only get in the way if she ended up getting into a fight and ruined by the end of it.
The moonlight shone through the leaves of the trees as a gentle breeze caressed the land. Carrying with it the soft sound of her voice as she sung to herself. Or perhaps to the quiet world around her.
‘ Pour my tea, pour my thoughts into separate beds
Spilling out in the clouds, whirling like a pirouette ’
She sounded almost unaware of the creatures around her, keeping their distance and peeking at her from the shadows. Whether they awaited for a time to attack or just seemed put in a trance it didn’t matter. She wouldn’t dare put her guard down especially during this time of day.
‘ Love is sweet, love is dark and it pulls
Your world apart, so you can grow
Now i see perfectly, oh how it’s clear
What i needed the most was you here ‘
