i have a mighty need for Ray with big black wings and everyone thinks it makes him evil/badass but really hes super chill and kinda lazy and he spends half his time dodging Micheal who is trying to make him do work

Ray possibly was Michael’s old pupil before Ray decided to go a different direction, but Michael has a hard time letting him go completely. Like Ray will get a call one evening and it’s Michael asking him to go angel and slip $50 into the wallet of a woman who needs it while they wait in line at the grocery store, and  Ray groans but gets up and does it anyway cause he figures he probably should maybe pick up some milk or bread while he’s there. But chocolate/dark/black/gray wings would be perf~

Regarding Angels and Demons, imagine Ray as a half angel who's kind of iffy on the angel side of things. He's told he could have an important role to play in the affairs of heaven and earth, as a bridge between the two, and he's just sort of... meh? Like, he's happy to help, but it all seems kind of dramatic and silly to him and he mostly finds the angel stuff useful for like, flying up to reach high objects and etc.

Ray did leave the Lads, so I could totally see this. Like, yeah, it’s not his job anymore to be a “working” angel, but he is one nonetheless, so he goes about just kind of day-to-day, not really worrying too much. He figures the Lads and Gents already have things under control. Besides, he’s found his Twitch niche. :D
