It’s weird to think that there are hunters out there that are just bad at hunting.

In this episode, Dean stops this hunter from trying to kill Crowley and the guy admits he’s never actually killed a demon before. And he’s using just a regular knife.

I forget sometimes that not all hunters have the special angel and demon blades that Sam and Dean have, so they are just raw dogging it.

And how can you be a hunter and not have killed a demon? That feels like some pretty basic hunting 101 type stuff. Okay, yes the hunter was actually a demon working for Crowley, but my point stands.

How many hunters are out there that started up hunting cause of something tragic happening to them and then are just terrible at it? How many die within just a few hunts?
