Welcome home theory, Barnaby is Wally’s service dog?

Hear me out: I heard this claim from AlleyDreamer on YouTube, she did a great character analysis video, I suddgest you check it out. At one point, she had mentioned a theory, well, more of a headcannon on Barnaby serving as a service dog for Wally Darling and how it ties to his autism. while she claimed to have no evidence of this, I think there is.

Barnaby and Wally are an inseparable pair, it’s often depicted in the artwork that Barnaby is always by Wally’s side. In many of the welcome home video tapes, Barnaby is almost always with him, the only time I can recall him not being there was with Poppy and Sally while making a show stopping cake, and one other time I believe

While Eddie and Wally were talking in one of the tapes, the one where Barnaby chases the mailman, Barnaby had appeared seemingly out of know where, as if looking for something or someone and this isn’t the first time such interactions have happened. Barnaby is confirmed to be a comic relief character, many of his jokes are made at his neighbors expense but we often see a kind and even more affectionate attitude when it comes to Wally Darling. In another tape, While Barnaby had been speaking to home, recalling the days events, He seemed to quickly pick up on Wally’s dissociation, noticing he hasn’t been painting while other neighbors tend to be indifferent to these episodes of his

It’s also cannon that Barnaby had taught Wally how to laugh, express affection, and even how to tell jokes. Barnaby seems more sensitive to Wally’s emotions, able to sense distress or discomfort right away, and I don’t think it’s subtle shipping that ties the two together

It would make sense for Barnaby to be a service dog character to Wally, considering how inseparable they seem and how in tune Barnaby is to Wally’s emotions. Wally is heavily implied to be an autistic character, if he is the star of a show, it would also make sense for him to have a kind of guard dog that keeps him from getting overstimulated from time to time

On another note: cannonly, Barnaby, can in-fact, understand Home, so it’s possible that he gets a lot of his information about Wally from Home, this might be why when Wally seems more tired one day Barnaby will opt for less stimulating actives like letting Wally paint his paws, or when Wally is curious about something Barnaby will try to explain it the best he can’t without judgement, because he knows Wally is a great adapter and understands if Wally doesn’t know something he’ll probably pick up the concept a lot quicker than the others neighbors would expect.

Also, another cannon fact confirmed by clown, if Wally falls over, he will just lay there until someone picks him up him, and more often then not it seems to be Barnaby.

Angels have various depictions outside of Christianity. And I say "christianity" because usually, that's the only religion that anti-otherkin people "defend" to go against angelkins. It's the only argument they have, because to them, Christianity is the only relevant religious belief. But have you considered that there may be creatures similar to angels that simply have a different name - like messengers from greek mythology such as Hermes - or that some people may have their own ideas and values?

Ietsists, for instance, believe in an unspecified trascendent reality because they think there are higher beings/forces that rule the universe (whether or not there's evidence for their existence). Ietsism combines traditional ideologies, superstitions or folk beliefs without believing in a main god. But they can believe in astrology, clairvoyance, and guess what - angels too. Angels who may not be westernised blonde humans with blue eyes & a halo on their head. Is this disrespectful? And if I believe in the existence of non-christian, non-religious celestial creatures, am I not allowed to be angelkin accoding to MY beliefs?

Just say you don't support the otherkin community and move on. You don't have to act like a hero. If you have to hate on something, be sure to sound smart enough to be taken seriously - not just by your audience of ableist close minded bullies. 99% of y'all aren't religious in the slightest

Recentering women in feminism is the only way to go. If men have problems atp they could easily create a political and social movement to fix that shit themselves but you notice how they blame women and not other men. Women have always been the focus in my politics, especially Black women and Especially ESPECIALLY Black transgender women.

Also we've gotta go back to being mean. The bimbo movement or whatever was dumb. Unironic girlboss is stupid. Y'all gotta realize that playing into a gender role will never free you from or destroy the patriarchy. Makeup does more harm than good, the fashion industry and it's expectations for the ideal woman are extremely harmful, the body positivity movement was still based in a desire to be attractive rather than a demand that we not even be defined by racist, sexist, etc standards of beauty in the first place.

Like I'm sorry but insisting feminism as an ideology is about ~gender equality~ and not the specific patriarchal oppression that women of all kinds go through is partly what got us into this mess. Defanged bc some of y'all were too worried about men's opinions. Defanged because you couldn't let go of the comfort of the patriarchy. Defanged because you couldn't let go of white supremacy and transphobia. Defanged because you liked the aesthetic of feminism more than the action of it and THAT is because you let capitalism take feminism and sell it back to you as a cutesy pink logo with some tshirts and shades.

We're in a massive conservative reactionary swing on all fronts right now. I know obv not all feminists are giving into the pressure to be political in name only while still upholding legiterately everything feminism is meant to be against, but this is scary and frustrating.

When we post, especially on TikTok, the comments are full of hate and people saying “you’re in psychosis!”

While I don’t deny psychosis can cause someone to believe they are a divine entity, people of divinekin identity’s are not in psychosis. (A majority of the time)

If someone is telling you something like this: “I identify with/as [divine entity],” “i believe I was an [divine entity] in a past life,” or etc, DONT IMMEDIATELY SHUT THEM DOWN! If you don’t understand, ask them to elaborate.

How would you feel if you trusted someone enough to tell them about such a personal identity and they immediately said it was invalid and you needed mental attention because of an IDENTITY?
