Friday, June 7, 1968 - Jane Asher accompanied fiance Paul McCartney to his brother Michael's wedding to Angela Fishwick in Carrog, Merioneth, North Wales🌺🌺🌺

The wedding was held at St. Bridget's church - the same place Paul and Mike's dad Jim McCartney had married his second wife Angela Williams almost four years earlier (Nov. 24, 1964). Jane took the day off from rehearsals for her new play, Summer, to attend🪷

Paul and Jane drove from London bringing with them Martha and the new puppy Eddy, that Paul had given Jane for her birthday. Following the 3 o'clock ceremony about 50 guests joined the McCartney clan for the champagne reception held at the family home, Rembrandt, in Gayton, Cheshire. Jane had to leave the reception early to be back in London for Saturday morning rehearsals (June 8th). Paul stayed late into the evening enjoying the fireworks display and seeing the newlyweds off on their honeymoon. Mike and Angela had been introduced four years earlier by Gerry Marsden at a Wirral discotheque🎍

On the 8th June 1968, Paul was the best man at his brother Michael's wedding💐💐💐

Mike married Angela Fishwick, a hair stylist, at the same church where the McCartney's father Jim married his second wife in north Wales💐

During the reception at Jim's Cheshire home, Paul led a singalong around the family piano💐
