August 16th, 2011: The First Day of School.
Author: Johnny Nguyen
The morning before school started, I woke up to call Jennifer. We planned to have breakfast at Denny's with Gary, Alex, Andrew, and Brian. I was driven to Jennifer's house, talked with Tram on the webcam, then we were picked up by Gary.
Picking Alex and his brother up from school, we went to Brian's house to pick him up as well. Gary drove us to Denny's and Alex ripped a dollar. Jennifer was sitting right next to him, so she flinched when she witnessed it. She never ripped a dollar before. During breakfast at Denny's, we had a conversation about transsexuals. Especially Brian knew the details to how it works, due to "common sense." I somewhat lost my appetite from the details. The food came after a while and we enjoyed the silence of eating.
After eating, we drove to school and split up after that for our different classes. I went through my morning classes just fine and lunch came quickly. Our group divided into two part and we were trying to migrate to a new location, some members being tired of our old location. That failed though since we didn't have enough time to search around. After lunch, Henry followed me to Drama class. He didn't get caught, surprisingly as an unregistered student.
Afterwards, I had U.S. History and English with Victor. It's reassuring to finally see someone from our usual group of friends. I had a nose bleed in the middle of our last period, but it wasn't too serious. The end of the day was nice and sunny. Everyone was chilling in their spots from last year and it felt as if we just returned from a long weekend, not summer.
As the last activity, Rainier drove us to Tapioca Expressway to buy popcorn chicken and drinks. We drove back to school and finally everyone went home. I'm at the library with Richie and Henry right now, just doing homework.
So yeah, it's been a good day for us so far. :>
August 16th, 2011: My Last Adventure With The Group
Author: Henry Nguyen
Do you know what sucks? That I'm leaving these incredible people that I grew close to over the past two to three months. It's actually pretty sad, but at the same time I couldn't be happier. I'm grateful to have met these people; I'm really glad that I went to that first BBQ back near the beginning of the summer. That's when it all started for me.
But like most adventures, they come to an end. And today, I couldn't have wished for anything better. I woke up at five in the morning just so I could go to Edwin's house. After watching the news, Edwin woke up his aunt to take us to McDonald's to buy breakfast and then we went to EV.
That's when I met Regi - the guy that I've heard so much about from the dancers in the group. Edwin and me helped him with his book stuff until Richie and Matthew showed up. Everyone from that pointed started to show up to the school.
Second period came and I went with Richie to his math class. I thought it was amazing how nice his math teacher was. I'm jealous, actually really jealous throughout that period. I wished I had a teacher like that, and hopefully maybe I will when I start school.
Third period came and Dana, who was suppose to pick me up from the Quad stairs, never showed up. It was horrible, I waited for her and ended up going in the wrong building. Andrew Truong showed up a little bit afterwards and showed me where the gym was, where I waited for Dana to come out. I went in and out of the gym hella times and I still couldn't find her and I finally gave up and waited outside.
The funny-ish part was that I did get caught today. Two college girls found me - I didn't think they were college students at first. I thought they were administrators. I lied to them and told them I was lost, they tok me to the office and I told them I couldn't go in. I told them a shorten version of the long story and they told me to roam around and keep looking like I'm lost. Yay! :D
Third period came and I went to Drama 1 with Johnny. Holy crap. I was going to shit my pants in that class. I got hella nervous because the teacher was making everyone do introductions. Luckily, he didn't reach me. Honestly, I got hella nervous but then fourth period came.
I had art with Edwin and Santiago. That teacher, she looks mean as hell. Edwin, he makes me laugh too much during that class. Every time he opened his mouth, I was somewhat laughing or holding back. Edwin should be a comedian one day~ :D
I had U.S. History with Edwin, Rainier, and Angela afterwards. That was also kinda nerve wrecking also. But after that period, my nerves calmed down. Though, the look on Angela's face when she saw me there made it priceless. She was like "O MY GAWD HENRY YOU'RE STILL HERE" surprised look on her face. It was priceless. If I got caught after that moment, it would've been so worth it.
Then last period came and I had English with Johnny, Victor, Regi, and Angela. We played a game where we were suppose to find people who has something that was in the box. Eh. I gave up on it shortly after it was given out.
At the end of the day, everyone as hella surprised to see that I made it throughout the whole seven / six periods. I was actually surprised myself. There were so many chances where I would've been caught, but I didn't. Then Rainier took us to Tap-Express and yeah. I ended up hanging out with Richie and Johnny for the rest of the day.
Like I said, today was worth all the trouble and nervousness that it brought me. I'm going to miss everyone, even the people I just met for the day. Everyone who knew me from outside the group, I told them that I transferred over. Eh, they could figure out that I'm gone tomorrow. (:
Well, I guess I'll see everyone in the group later - in 9 months! Victor is going to give birth to a baby in 9 months~ He better name it after me...
But yeah, I'm going to miss you guys. Thanks for the amazing summer! See you guys late ^-^ bai bai~

June 24th, 2011: Barbecue Party
Happy birthday to:
Andrew Trinh of June 18th!
Angela Do of June 20th!
Victor Giang of June 23rd!
Andrew/Victor/Angela's B-day party
First one home! (6/18/11)
So I'm sure there's going to be several versions of this post, so I'll post mine! :D
Went to Andrew's house at around, 10:30 ish to give him the table and remotes for the party. BUTTT, I forgot to get the table out of the trunk ): So my dad drove back and got it back for us :B yay. Later on, I was helping Andrew prepare the Salad, but he left me cleaning the salads by myself... Oh well, he got it all set up in the end. Then, a majority of the people came and Santiago brought handcuffs without keys, which scared me sooo much cause I got cuffed. Thankfully, it was not a real handcuff, so I just pushed that... thingy on the side, yay :D.
Finally, the jump house was all set for us to play in! After a whole bunch of wrestling, messing around, Dana getting tickled until she didn't know whether she was crying or laughing, some CoD zombies to round 7, truth and dare (i wasn't in that one), and kings, it was cake time! :D So my AMAZING camera taking skills were so superior, I had Matthew take the pictures of Angela, Victor and Andrew cutting the cake (mostly cause i wasn't tall enough to take the pictures ): ). (Omg, i'm hearing either fire crackers or gun shots right now, freaky.) Anyways! After giving so many little kids uneven proportions of ice cream cake, we creamed Victor, Andrew and Angela, an okay amount :B. The rest room was a mess later though ;].
After the chaotic, cream war, REGALOSSS!! (presents). So first was Angela, she opened our amazing gift with a super glued shut shoe box with super glued news paper (she couldn't destroy the newspaper 'cause we told her there's money in the newspaper ;] ) and found a water bottle! :D We're great friends huh ;] At least the next present was a scarf at Cotton On. (When Victor and I went there to get the scarf, Angela randomly appeared at Eastridge, we were like, "RUN, RUN RUN!!! DON'T LET HER SEE IT" even though she was chasing after us still ;] ) After Angela's gift, it came Andrew's :B Bwuahahaha, when he opened his gift, a pair of short shorts (light pink) and sports bras showed up. LOLL, he wore them on too! He attempted to make his cleavage larger with small balloon balls, one of them popped ;D. Then, Victor opened his gift (he took FOREVERRRRR 'cause he wanted to take his time) with Blue short shorts and sports bras ;D Then he opened Angela's gift. Done. ;] He got her a back flipping puppy with a card explaining the gift and such with an itunes card ($10) with this small bun thingy o-O! Then, (I forgot what Richie got Andrew, sorry Richieeee!) Victor opened his gift from Richie, containing about 12 Naruto posters, (About 20''x20'' i think?).
Lastly, we all went to session at Aborn Plaza near the dentist place. Daaaaang, that video with those lights were sexyyyy, omgggg. Thus, we decided to make a video with all of the amazingggg lights. Brandon and I decided to go first 'cause we had to go soon, so when I went, my shoes came off and I didn't do much, Oh well! Afterwards, my dad came waaay earlier than expected, so we had to go. Fun night! :D
Thanks for the memories,
Edwin Tran
