Wednesday, May 25, 2011: The first day of summer at Denny's.
As a plan to celebrate our first day of summer, we decided to eat out at Denny's. I had to give rides to several people though: Andrew Truong, Andrew Trinh, Edwin, Victor, and David.
We arrived to Denny's next to Chuck E. Cheese and met the rest over there. We nearly filled an entire table and we were all eating. There was Angela, John, Cassy, Matthew, Edwin, Victor, Gary, Andrew Truong, Andrew Trinh, Santiago, Rainier, David, and Jennifer.
Jennifer ordered a slice of cake for Angela, Victor, Andrew Trinh, and me as an early gift for our summer birthdays since she was going to leave for Cambodia during that time. I loved the chocolate cake!
The servers were somewhat helpful. They gave us most of the food we ordered, but I didn't get my root beer float. Also, we all paid $142.45, but it took us a while to collect the money.
There was birthday singing, pictures taken, a bunch of talking and shouting, and I heard that "Angela ate like a beast."
After we finished eating, we walked out the door and Jennifer saw the sign: "15% off total recipe if student I.D. is shown." It was too late for us to do it.
She raged like a monster and the rest of us joined her out there in front of Denny's. No wonder the servers were smiling when we left. Plus, I am never going to recommend that Denny's. They actually treated us like kids, even though we technically are children. Lost my respect there. We even paid a good tip for them.
We went to Chuck E. Cheese since Gary was supposed to be our guardian, but the ladies at the front told us that Gary was only responsible for himself. This was like last time: They wouldn't let the minors in! I swear, when I turn 18-years-old, I'm inviting all of my friends to Chuck E. Cheese and scream: "YOU MAD!?"
Next off is that we went to Lion Plaza, an Asian place at Tully Road. Richie caught up with us there and we found stray kittens. David and I tried to feed it bread, which I brought for $1.50.
A lot of us went to the Asian store full of toys and anime-related items.
Then, half of the us left. It has been a great day out of school and the rest of us walked to Eastridge. We spend our time hanging out next to the AMC theatres. Richie and Angela went to the theater to watch movies.
Edwin, David, Victor, Andrew Trinh, Cassy, Matthew, and I walked to my house. On the way there, I rented out a movie, "The Losers," with Cassy's debit card. On the way to my house, David left and I gave him a hug.
We watched the movie in my living room. It was pretty good since each of the main characters had a personality. We assigned ourselves to the characters in the movie, which made it even better.
The day ended with all of us, besides me, leaving for home.
Oh, and it was when I came up with the idea to make this Tumblr for The Group while I was taking a shower at night. It took a lot of time and brain work to make it happen. Hopefully, it will come in great use later on.
