What kind of spider is this? Super tiny black spider that appears more brown in light? Found in my home on a door frame in the American southeast

Mainly asking this because I wanted to just leave it be and let it hang out but I worry about whether or not it is poisonous because I have four cats

I know these pictures are awful but I wasn’t able to take anything better with my phone

typically no, the majority of the wasps posted on this account are found in the wild and returned to the wild as soon as the photo is taken. our encounters are fleeting, our time spent together only lasting a minute or two. i do, however, have a few individuals in my care - a male Polistes fuscatus and a female Polistes dominula - who are unable to fly and would quickly die if left to their own devices.

Praying for your sweet kitty. I went through the same thing when I was younger. I had a cat who was three and she ate a toxic plant and her kidneys failed 😭 I know exactly how you’re feeling and it’s an awful feeling. I hope more than anything that she recovers and that everything’s okay. I love you and I’m so sorry

That was exactly what happened. I think the plant wasnt toxic , but sadly gave her indisposition and developed some diseases.

She left us today. She was only 3yo as well. Her name was Yoko, it means Child in japanese. She will be forever a child now.

I must say never really experienced a pain like this. Im sorry for your kitten too. Life is so unfair sometimes. They were so young..

Im still blaming myself for this, but deep down I did what I could, ended up costing 1k to try to save her and wasnt enough and I know I gave her all the love I had to give, and she was such a happy kitten here.

She is resting in peace now. My little angel 😭

Congratulations angel!!! I’m so proud of you! I bet it feels wonderful having all of the work you have put in pay off. I always wanted to get into psychology but can’t afford school right now. I’d love to hear how things are going and what you’re working on! Good luck and remember that there is always a way to help somebody, sometimes it just takes a little bit of trial and error and/or adjustments to get the “formula” just right.

hi! first of all i am lucky enough to live in a country where university is actually free if your family’s income is below a certain threshold (and mine was!)

i’m an intern in a hospital unit that diagnoses and treats borderline personality disorder

also i’m a preschool teacher and do some tutoring but it’s just a side gig! i used to volunteer at a mental health hotline and i’d love to start doing some volunteering again

Not a cocoon but rather a praying mantis egg case called an ootheca :)
