UPDATE. THE HORRID HORSE BLOG HAS MADE A SECOND ACCOUNT. PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT WITH THAT BLOG EITHER.
What was your favorite part of the process of writing and publishing Godless Punks? What about the most difficult part? How did it compare to BASA? :)
Thank you for the questions Lexi!! <3
My favorite part of the writing process was getting to the ending! It felt v cinematic in my head and like all the pieces were coming together, and I felt like the ending was just what I wanted it to be. For publishing, my favorite part was seeing @sobcat 's incredible cover art!!
The most difficult part was getting over my self doubt. For a long time after finishing the book I was very frustrated with it after so much reading, rereading, and revising, and I felt like it was garbage. I took a long break, and when I came back, I realized that a lot of that negativity was all in my head.
BASA felt easy to write, while Godless Punks was a lot harder for a variety of reasons. For one, I wasn't working a full-time job while writing BASA. Godless Punks was also my first serious venture into full-on fantasy rather than contemporary fiction with fantastical/supernatural elements, so that was a challenge. There are also a ton of fight scenes in GP and I wasn't very experienced with that. I'd also never written six different POV characters for one story before!!
That being said, I'm very glad that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to write GP! I want to keep pushing myself and growing as an author :)
Tips for how to make your boyfriend love you more??

Okay just going to break character here for a moment because this shit has seriously disgusted me.
Who in the actual hell thought that making such an atrocious blog like that was a good idea, let alone appropriate when most of the blogs in the jayception fandom are literal minors? I simply cannot wrap my head around the utter level of stupidity one has to have to look at these blogs and think "Hm, I'll just give them disgustingly NSFW asks or HARRASS them.".
My heart goes out to the people who were harassed by such an asshole of a blog. Truly, I feel so, so bad for those that were affected by that asshole. If any of you need to take a break and then come back when YOU feel ready, that's more than okay! We as a fandom will support you no matter what you choose to do after this.
Until further notice, this blog and the Crypto Tom Buchanan blog @cybertombuch I run will have anonymous asks OFF. I cannot force anyone else to do so, but I would advise those who are minors running any blogs, possibly even those who aren't minors running any jayception blogs, in the jayception fandom(?) to do the same to try and prevent that terrible horse dildo blog (I'm sure we know which one) from sending those terrible things.
To that one horrible blog, I am certain I speak for most of us when I say that your blog is unfunny at best, and revoltingly foul at worst. And this is coming from a blog about someone's shoes, for Pete's sake. I can't even give you any solid advice, as I know it'll be as productive as speaking to a brick wall. Do not send such vile things to these jayception blogs ever again. In fact, you should've never even started in the first place. I understand you thought it might have been funny, but if you want to make such heavy NSFW jokes such as that, you make those "jokes" with blogs that aren't run by MINORS.
God, this whole thing makes me sick.
I'll be putting the blog information under the tag Angelo speaks.
GODLESS PUNKS DRAFT 1 IS COMPLETE
maybe I should just make a personal blog at this point
Progress Update
I know I’ve been a little dead on Tumblr lately, especially when it comes to original content, so just a little update: the first draft of Godless Punks is currently at 61k words. I’m estimating that the final wordcount will be 80k, which means I’m in the final stretch! I hope that I can finish before the fall semester starts, while I still have a lot of free time, but we’ll see!
