Sorry. I'm a bit obsessed with vernetto (tk14). I just now notice (or maybe ) I have developed such a weak spot for yuri with a bit complex childhood friend tone background surrounding them.
Now that I remember that Princess Principal has similar tone of yuri where AngeLotte basically were also childhood friends but the thing that sold me from PriPri was not that tone of yuri but more like princess and her knight thingy(?)
And... And how Princess(Charlotte) basically wants to melt/ruined the wall in Ange's cold heart?!?! That was really sweet.
Meanwhile in Reverse: 1999, in the case of Vernetto, they both also have similar tone too with AngeLotte (princess/lady and her knight) but I think their personalities and roles got kinda Reversed here where Vertin is the one that has the role like Princess(they both have similar motives to save their people/Arcanist) while the pain of losing friends causing Vertin numb and expressionless, hence the poker face but not cold like Ange she is death inside and the only motive to survive was so she can meet princess and elopes to Casablanca with her
And we have Sonetto with a more warm and naive personality compared to Ange(similar with Princess) but she still shares the same motives with Ange where they just wants to protect their lover
