CAMPING. rami couldn’t quite recall what had driven him into suggesting camping. out of all activities, camping wasn’t his favorite; one room with the same person, outdoors and food from cans and bonfires. nevertheless rami was happy to be included. the man took another glance at his full backpack and then at the other, a smirk crossing his lips. “the next time i suggest camping, please punch me right in my face, alright ?”   /   @angelslikeycu​

Dani knew her antics would come back to haunt her. At least she hadn’t yet slept with one of her student’s parents. As far as she was aware. She imagined that would be the worst possible interaction. Brunch with the stranger who had she had shared a very enjoyable night with then proceeded to leave around 6 AM before they were awake was now placed high up on her list of worst experiences. Maybe they didn’t remember her. They were both drunk. “Hey, good morning. Sorry, I got distracted on the subway and missed the stop and then had to shamefully catch the southbound train. Anyway, mimosas?” Her plan to just slide in as though nothing had happened couldn’t possibly backfire.

     “it’s been a minute since i’ve called on a friend.. it is just me, or it this adulting shit is nothing like we used to think it’d be? why were we so eager to grow up?” it was typical of ajai to have her plate full, always biting off way more than she could chew, but just something today had been off. she’d reached her limit, all maxed out on work and knew she needed some grounding, so she reached out to the first person that came to mind. “...so, how’ve you been at least? life any easier for you right now than me?”

moving to a new place and having to get used to where everything was in a new apartment complex in eva’s opinion had to be one of the worst things although — waking up and seeing a different view then before the minute her eyes opened was actually pretty amazing. the female had only lived there a couple of days and basically things seemed to be going pretty well .. some of the people she had met leaving her place to go to work happened to be kind and very welcoming. but, there was one major thing that she did have to complain about every time — the occasionally loud neighbor. the whole reason eva had picked that place specifically was because the agent told her it was basically pretty silent and she wouldn’t have to worry about anyone being super loud which was great the days that she did work the night shift at the vet. a small huff passed her lips the moment she heard them again, but this time she intended on going over to see what the issue was. of course at the moment she didn’t care how she looked with her slightly wrinkled pajamas with her pair of mitch-matched socks, bringing up her fist and knocking on their door a couple times before crossing her arms over her chest.

Temperance had woken up with the usual scream dying in her throat. At one point in her life, she had tried to stop the pervasive nightmares that disrupted her REM cycle more often than not. Unfortunately, she had forgotten that she was crashing at Myles’ place. Instead of curling back into a ball and waiting until the sun rose and pretending like she never shed any tears, she was looking down at his bed and the prospect of having someone to keep her perpetually cold body warm. “Not a word about this tomorrow.” Temperance said and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. She slipped into the bed and drew his arm around her. At least he had seen death too. No one could blame her.
