Femme lets out small noises of confirmation she's listening as Joseph continues to name every possible way of ending someone's life from an up close and personal stand point. Michin lifts the pen to her lips, idly chewing on the tip as eyes narrow across at the other. "So you're trained to do these things? Like you could probably do it without even thinking?" There's a glint of excitement in brows hues, how helpful he'd be to her boss' cause. "Are you scared of the things you're capable of, Joseph?"

rowan likes seeing his princess like this : guard ( slightly ) down, looking a little more undone than usual, not putting on a show - - one she’s been forced to perform in. it feels raw. it feels real. and if he weren’t already enamored by her, this would do him in. but, the jester has been shamelessly starry-eyed for catriona for ages. “oh, i most certainly did,” flashes a grin, “and it was up to me to lift their moods afterwards. does your father know how daunting of a task that is? to make a fool of myself so the men turned down by you won’t feel too humiliated?” in all reality, rowan didn’t mind. at least this way, he knew she hadn’t accepted a proposal. there’s a fond roll of his eyes and he steps closer. “you know…” rowan muses, brown eyes tracking her every feature, “you’re just as beautiful when you’re scowling. so, if you’re trying to get rid of me, princess, i fear it’s having the opposite effect.”
brows raise for a moment at his words, finding it somewhat amusing to know that he made a fool of himself just to spare the likes of the suitors that she has turned down. “so you are saying that you sacrificed yourself for the sake of their fragile egos?” maybe she's getting a little too comfortable in the jester's presence, she'd never speak like this in front of any other member of the court. “my father put you up to this? — interesting.” gaze lifts to watch him as he draws closer, though she stays seated without a second glance to notice the roll of his eyes to which she would have most definitely commented upon had she witnessed it. “so my beauty amuses you so much you wish to stay and gawk, is that your best attempt at a flirting line towards the princess, jester?” this time the choice of title might sound a little more derogatory than she means it to. “and are you aware that citizens have been sentenced to death for less?”
Abigail's eyes shifted back to him as he spoke and she could only raise her brows, shake her head in disapproval. "Shut up, Miles." She said. And then he had the guts to mention her again. Abigail scoffed and stepped closer to Miles, pointing her finger at him. "Oh my fucking god - are you seriously defending her too, now?" She questioned, head shaking another few times in disbelief. "You know, you're disgusting. I'm going to find each and every friend of yours here, and I'm going to make out with them. See how you like that."
Low chuckle rumbles in his chest as she attempts to silence him, hands lifting up in feigned surrender. "Defending? Who was defending?" Miles scoffs as she comes closer, hands still held up in the air — Ready to hold her back from him if he has to but then the next words call arms to fall back to their sides. A normal response would be jealousy, annoyance — That's exactly what she wants out of him, so he doesn't dare to give it. "How I'd like that?" His arms fold across his chest now, smirk playing on the corners of his mouth. "Most of my friends are girls so I say have at it, baby."
Tom liked that Kinya challenged him. He shook his head slowly and moved a hand up to Kinya's chin, gripping it to make it look at him. Then he started walking very slowly, guiding the other to the end of his bed until the other was standing at it. "Alright, that's it." Tom said with a little scoff and a shrug. "You want that annoying mouth stuffed? I'll give you something." He moved his hand down to the other's throat, pushing Kinya down to seat him on the bed. "Now, let me get on my seat properly then."
Gaze is fixed on the other as he grips his chin, forcing him to look him in the eyes. How is this actually working for him? Part of him usually expects to be slapped for the shit that comes out of his mouth. Kinya almost pauses when Tom seems like he's suddenly giving in, following suit. "Oh, you're serious?" Eyes widen at the hand suddenly at his throat, before he knows it he's on the bed, looking up at Tom with a smirk. "Well shit— You don't have to tell me twice." Smug as ever, Kinya shuffles on the bed before laying down, hands inviting the other to get on top of him.
"Is that an order, princess?", his question rose at the end, a sardonic smile pulling at his lips while he pretended not to speak to her at all. His eyes were dancing over the people mulling about, but never really landing on anyone, because she was the only one that truly caught his attention. It just wouldn't look like it from afar, which was the main goal. "Do you not find my jokes amusing? Or my attitude to your liking? Please, do tell. I love to adapt according to my... surroundings. Raise to the challenge, so to speak." Only then did he slide his gaze towards hers, lifting his eyebrows in a silent dare.
There's a quirk of her brow, as short-lived as it is at his question — Daring to talk to a royal like this could be dangerous for a man like him and yet here he is, flaunting the danger in her peripheral view. All it earns is a soft scoff of amusement, she doesn't dare to use her status to order him to state his business. "Is that so?" Femme questions as she takes another drink, eyes scanning over the jester before setting down her glass. "Well, if it is what you wish of me, I am happy to oblige my subjects." Catriona sits up in her place, hands placed so gracefully on her lap. "For starters, your routine can sometimes be slightly too provocative for the likes of my particular court." Eyes narrow, testing how truly honest she is able to be. "Shall I go on?"
lips curled into a bigger smile at her words. god, playing the game with her was better than imagined. he just knew she would know what to do to make it fun. he felt the blade that was tucked into the waistband of his pants. he knew how he wanted this night to end ... but maybe he had gotten another idea. a better one.

thinks she's getting the upper hand, however short - lived it may be. there's a chance that if she took him a little more seriously she would have actually gotten away but due to this just being a sick form of foreplay in her mind, the only thing ainsley's attempting is to be caught.

It upsets me not knowing in case you’re owed an apology,” she added, biting her lower lip slightly.

You're adorable.” Homme chuckles out half-heartedly, eyes rolling at her comment — Women's need to feel something towards people so unrealistic in his eyes — He's not exactly liked by many. “Not necessary, in fact, makes it more fun to hate me during it I'd say.” Kinya shrugs as he approaches her, eyes narrowing at sudden words though he still finds amusement within. “An apology?” He's usually the one to owe others one of those, maybe he could play into this for his own enjoyment. “I guess you have hurt my feelings a good few times.” Scoffs out as if remembering those certain times, stepping in closer to Aislin. “I could think of a million ways you could apologise though.”

Femme blinks up at him, after pretending to write some serious notes in her book. "Uncomfortable or not, I think it's healthy to work these things out with yourself — I'd even go as far to say I think you might be projecting on to me and you're actually the one that's uncomfortable with talking about it." Always the manipulater, never the manipulated. "Why don't we just start with one? List the ones from the up close and personal category for me." Also known as Michin's personal favourite.
