One more Good Omens idea, so after the armadidnothappen and the ‘trial’ in heaven the Metatron shows up and let’s the archangels know that God is pissed at them (because she loves Zira and Crowley and has shipped them for 6000 years) and that they’re being put in a metaphorical time out.
Long story short the archangels stranded on earth...with no powers.
Archangels stuck as humans.
Archangels having to learn to humans and getting their comeuppance.
Crowley is laughing the entire time.
