Didnt take many pictures of The Angry Abbys gig on Saturday. I now have a huge appreciation for musicians who are able to perform properly in 100 degree weather. I struggled. We cut our show short with a 45 min set. I was short of breath and almost fainted numerous times. I couldn't hold my notes longer than 5 seconds. I am no wimp when it comes to my performance, but not only did my vocals suffer, I couldn't see my tuner and we had issues with our amps. We all have new equipment but that amount of heat can cause havoc. We did have an awesome time tho. I had to seek refuge from the sun as shown in these photos. We were parked under a tree in view of the stage with the air conditioner blaring. It took me awhile, but I finally felt ok once I was able to catch my breath. The Angry Abbys will take a short break to record new material. Stay tuned for updates and please continue to support the band by following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Spotify.
