Are you sure they aren’t gonna come back? It seems highly possible that another company will pick them up… I mean even if people complained, they still have fans.
I’m not sure of anything. Right now I’m keeping tabs on any new articles that come out about it. If they manage to get picked up by another company I’ll certainly be ready and waiting for the good news =).

Maybe they are going independent. maybe they were sold to another company.
I haven’t heard anything about that yet, but it would be nice if some good news comes along. It kind of sounds like their artist for the Alice series will be replaced if they do manage. I would feel bad for Fujimaru but in the general sense the art has already changed multiple times and the thought of it changing again isn’t all that scary at this point.

I really want to love Akagami no Shirayukihime....
The biggest thing for that series is interaction of character and development. There isnt really one big plot (well a little), it’s more separated into different arcs.
It feels like this setting and the characters had the potential to get into something bigger. I thought maybe it was one of those slow progressing plots. Sometimes I like the stories that are mostly character development, but I don’t know, with this particular one I wish there was more than that. I’ll probably watch it up to the last episode though.
