I’m not going into the finer details here, but my separation from the shipping side of fandom has, expectedly, altered my views considerably.

No, I don’t have plans to change my name; it’ll remain as-is since I do still favor Jikook’s dynamic overall, but at this point in time, I’ve more or less dismissed romantic notions* between them (and obviously with the other members).

* Previously, I’d entertain the possibility of it existing. While this is no longer the case, this is not a dismissal of their bond that they have with one another.

I have no idea where that leaves this blog and what’s worth discussing (if anything), other than expressing enjoyment/observations when Jungkook and Jimin do get together.

Are you no longer active on tumblr? I miss your posts

I’m traveling so I don’t have the time or interest to commit to answering anything, but I’m also undecided about returning with any regularity (there’s a post I wanted to make that tackles all the asks I wanted to address in one go, but that’s still ongoing). The prevalence of Jikook is Real dogma is exhausting, and I think there are a lot more of those accounts on here that makes it difficult to ignore when all of those accounts are essentially feeding into each other. Also, solos, which I think is self-explanatory.

I’m on Twitter again (@/angryjkkr) a lot more (ironically), but it’s unfit for people who are religious about their ship. You can request a follow, but I’m more likely to accept you if you have a history of posts I can review and if you can introduce yourself here via DM or there to explain why you want to follow me.* Sorry if that seems pretentious, but I do get people who love to keep tabs on me for disingenuous reasons.

* This also applies to anyone who already sent in a request, but I’ll be honest and say I haven’t really gotten around to those because I love having the freedom to criticize the things that bother me. It is what it is.

But otherwise, I plan to make a giant post at some point. No idea when, though.

I don’t know if you’ve answered this before. I’m new to your blog and i enjoy reading your opinions but I haven’t gotten around to reading everything yet. What do u think about that moment from 2018 when the staff placed cameras in the boys’ hotel rooms without their knowledge and we could see all the other 5 members getting into their rooms but Jimin and Jk were getting into Jk’s hotel room together. Now i’m not one to start reading too much into things cuz i know some situations are gravely misunderstood but what made everything a little suspicious to me was the way Jimin and Jk reacted. They were clearly shocked and even abit panicked (judging by Jk’s body language and Jimin’s facial expression). I understand that all the other members were shocked too cuz they didn’t expect to see cameras in their hotel rooms but Jimin and Jk actually panicked for a bit and Jk actually paused at the door for a bit before Jimin quicky said “wow ur room is huge”

I’ve been a huge skeptic when it comes ships in general but i like to look at stuff just out of curiousity and this one moment of Jikook’s was extremely sus to me. They have other “sus” moments i can easily explain but not this one. The thing is, there is no crime in the boys visiting each other’s hotel rooms, they even tell us themselves that they visit each other so it shouldn’t have been a problem that Jimin was there right? What was the the reason for the obvious panic?

It’s an interesting moment, sure. It doesn’t really matter regarding their present dynamic, but when you’re watching this at face value, they’re clearly taken by surprise or at least aren’t prepared for the camera.

Why is the question, and I wouldn’t know that.

What are your thoughts on 3D?

“From my making”? Holy shit, that typo is making me crazy, and of course I’m only noticing it now.

Anyway, yes, I wasn’t really a fan of it upon first listen; I didn’t take to it as quickly as Seven, anyway.

Now that it passed the car test, it’s a fun jam. I don’t go out of my way to listen to it, but I don’t skip it either in my shuffled playlist. But besides my preference, objectively I thought it did stand out from today’s mainstream pop landscape because it really sinks its claws into nostalgia. 2000s fashion should burn in a dump truck, but where music is concerned, Jungkook has made it work somehow.

You can submit a request to follow, but I haven’t approved anyone yet because I’m relishing the ability to say anything at all without being policed or subjected to the whims of cancel culture. 🤮

I’ll keep repeating it for anyone who asks about my Twitter account moving forward, but I have opinions that are critical, I talk shit (in general/about shippers, ships, and shipping/not against BTS), and I talk about BTS with women sometimes (the horror). Trust me when I say that if the things I talk about here provoke you even a teeny tiny amount, you’ll feel flat out murderous on Twitter.

The things I randomly talk about aren’t exactly pearl-clutching content, in my opinion, but it really does take a special type of person—not ARMY, not shippers—to withstand things I say, that I know for a fact others want to say but won’t because of how fanatical this fandom is about their members/bias.

Do yourself and me a favor and DO NOT request a follow if you’re a hardcore shipper or ARMY or have a bias that can do no wrong. Just don’t. And anyway, I may not even approve you when I get around to it. When I am ready, I will look at your accounts. I’m not keen on lurkers following me there; if you prefer to lurk, I’m still here on Tumblr. I’ll share some things from time to time.
