A Thought About What I Hear Around Me
Lately, I've heard the most ridiculous things about gay people. And, while I am not gay, I still feel so offended by these comments and all these lies/stereotypes that I've heard in the past couple of weeks. When are people going to get that people are just people and that we need to treat each other with kindness and fairness? When are people going to understand that love is love no matter what? More importantly, when are they going to get the fact that being gay is not a disease? I am so tired of people not believing in equality and fairness. It makes me lose faith in humanity a little more every single day.
