((Alright lovelies it is super duper late and the bed is calling my name with it's comfy pillows and warm blankets. Good night, I'll get to replies and asks tomorrow! I owe: Jack, Lilo, and Rapunzel. If I owe you and you're not listed, please let me know! Sweet dreams dolls~))
angstyjackfrost:
Having slightly dozed off, the sound of someone trying to enter the store woke him up. He groaned when looking at his silver watch, “Can’t you read the sign”, he asked no one, but everyone as well. “We’re not open yet”, he shut his eyes. It wasn’t until hearing the repetitive light tapping on the window that made him realize it was a tad unusual. Somewhat still slouched over, the brunette turned over his should curious as to what was happening.
Looking almost surprised at first, his facial expression sagged looking unamused when acknowledging who was tapping. “There she is.” Walking over with a stretch, Jack unlock the wooden, glassed door opening it slightly ajar enough to where only Anna could come in. “You’re late”, he mentioned before locking the doors once more. “But seeing how you’re actually in uniform, I’ll forgive you”, he smiled. “I got most of the things done anyway.”
♔ "I know, it's just I overslept and then my sister, Elsa, drank all the orange juice and I mean, I couldn't have breakfast without orange juice so I had to get some and then I saw the time and I freaked out so I ran here...
- I'm babbling, aren't I?"
There was only a quarter to eight until the 'closed' sign was changed to 'open'. There was still so much Jack had to do, but Jack decided to finish the rest of his chores until after hours. It's not like had anywhere to go after work either way. Having the floors swept, mopped, and dried, Jack sat on one of the chairs to rest his eyes before the coffee shop opened. His shift hadn't even started and he was already tired. Wait. Isn't the new girl supposed to be here? "Where is she?"
♔ "I’m late, I’m late, I’m late, I’m so late
- oh, I’m so going to get fired before my first shift and then Elsa will be all ‘I told you so’ and then - oof!” The redhaired girl was cut off rather suddenly as she slammed into a lamppost, face first. Stumbling back, she rubbed her head gingerly, frowning at the offending post as colour began to flush her cheeks.
“Oops,”
Hurrying past the lamppost, being careful to dodge it this time, Anna glanced at her watch. 7:48. Shoot. She was supposed to be there almost twenty minutes earlier.
"Excuse me, pardon me…" She smiled politely, weaving her way through the bustling crowd of strangers, slurping their morning coffee an puffing on cigarettes as they made their way to work, "Coming through!"
Catching sight of her destination, Anna hurried her pace as she burst into almost a sprint to the coffee shop. Skidding to a halt outside the door, she tugged at the handle. It wouldn’t budge. As expected, it was locked.
"No, no, no.” Anna groaned, slumping her shoulders. Peering in through the window, she spotted someone slouched by the counter. Sighing a breath of relief, she gently tapped on the glass.
“Helloooo?”
