It was announced that director Fukui passed away a few days ago from complications of his recent cancer treatment. He will remain a legendary icon of punk and counterculture art, a pioneer and pillar of the japanese cyberpunk movement, and will be remembered by many as a very welcoming, curious, and kind person.

Here we have Rubber's Lover, which even featured Ameya Norimizu (bottom left) - Fukui was deeply connected to the underground scene and stayed true to his roots to the end. Thank you for everything.
