Ship: Annabear. Shameless Annabear Writing.
Mulciber had began to stay at a hotel -- and a little later, so did little miss Anna. The mudblood that changed him, he'd talk to her once and they conversed. So, it was a good night. Three days later though, Mulciber was in a bad sleep.
"Look, Mulciber!" Voices chanted from around him as he was forced to watch Anna stand away from him -- hurt filling her eyes though she was hiding it well.
But, since he'd been good friends with her for so long, he saw right through them. There was a yell of Crucio, and a scream that was too horrible to even imagine ripped through the air, Mulciber choked on the air at it. He'd never wanted to hear this sound, but here he was -- listening to it, unable to help his friend.
He felt horrible. He should've hexed her the first time they spoke, and maybe after she kept coming back. Maybe then they wouldn't be in this horrible mess. Her screams diminished. Mulciber looked up to see one single tear slide down her left cheek. But that was the only one.
When someone said Imperio, he wasn't expecting it to be at him. But he stood and drew his wand, under the control of someone. Mulciber's train of thoughts, though, were still slightly clear as he watched the fear in Anna's eyes rise as he pointed his wand at her. But he couldn't quit. She began to shake her head. Someone gave her a chance to say any last words.
"I trusted you, Mulciber. I thought you were my friend," Was all Anna said before Mulciber said two words.
"Avada Kedavra," Mulciber said with no hesitation -- still under Imperio himself. But a tear seemed to slip down his cheek as the jet of green light struck through the air and hit Anna. It was only seconds before she was a lifeless body and he was released from the spell. They let him go, though. He felt as if he should be dead.
Gasping for air, Mulciber shot straight up into a sitting position, looking around and pulling on a pair of basketball shorts -- not even going to bother with a shirt. He walked out of his room and down to Anna's. From what she told him, her family all had a room to themselves. Walking down to the room number 4B, he pulled his wand from the basketball shorts, glancing from side to side for a second before mumbling Alohomora. Her door popped open and he walked in -- silently shutting it behind himself.
Licking his lips, Abaddon walked through the hotel room until he found her room. He stood in the door way, easing closer. But when he kicked something and it made a noise, he knew he was in trouble.
A small beside lamp flicked on and a sleepy Anna rose, resting on her elbows.
"What in the bloody hell, Mulciber?" Anna asked sleepily, staring at him intently. He had scared the hell out of her and she didn't appreciate it.
"I had a bad dream," Mulciber mumbled. "I wanted to make sure you were okay," He whispered.
"Come here," Anna brightened the light and flipped the covers of the other side down exposing the bed. She patted it. "You can sleep here. But, you stay on your side, and I'll stay on mine -- okay?" She nodded and so did he, he crawled onto his side of the bed smiling.
"Thanks Anna," Mulciber chuckled.
"Stop smiling, Mully. It makes me think you're going to murder me in my sleep. Now, go to sleep why don't you? I'm right here," Anna leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Sweet dreams," She leaned back on her side and turned the lamp off.
"Sweet dreams, Anna," Mulciber smiled before slipping into a more peaceful sleep.
