I went to Animagic! For the first time ever! :D I never went there for various reason but now my dad lives in Mannheim and I wanted to visit him anyway for my birthday, so I thought why the fuck not? And I took my dad with me for on sunday and we watched the DCM prelim together, bc he's never been to a convention nor seen a cosplay competition. :D Otherwise it was alright - it's not quite my convention or my crowd but I saw some people I hadn't seen in a decade, which was nice and I still had a lovely weekend, spending time with people I don't see that often or just don't spend that much time with otherwise bc we have diffrent circles, that don't overlap often.
The weather could have been better, tho. Especially sunday was rather frosty in the evening. :< But I don't think I will come back, even though I don't regret going - maybe for a day, if it falls on my birthday again and I visit my dad anyway but not for my regular convention rooster.
