having no npc animals in your multiplayer animal game is one of the worst things you could do unless all playables are on roughly the same level of power (which also sounds boring as fuck). ive lost the count of how many of these just hope that enough people will magically want to play the designated fodder small/medium (not too many small tho) herbivores and also that these people would not be bothered by dying a bunch and having a gigantic target on their back
#its only a REAL survival game if you have to kill#other people#animal sim#dinosaur sim#a lot of devs and players feel insulted by the addition of edible NPCs for some reason?#and then you get to see people go into tangents about absolutely insane shit like limiting what ad how many off a creature can show up on a#server or forcing players to play as the smaller creatures before getting to play the big stuff#i am sorry#but you just CANNOT rely on people wanting to play fodder crap so somebody else can have fun#at least make the fodders gameplay crazier or more fun or something
