Hey! I saw your post on thespectacularspider-girl's page about the 'fake nerd girl accusations' and figured I'd give my experience of it. It exists, but only lasts about five seconds for anyone who is actually pretty nerdy. Y'know, conversations like "Haha, I can't imagine you'd like Doom, given that you're a girl." "Nah, I think Doom's great! I prefer Hexen though, that first episode is amazing, *rambles about traps and breaking windows and crappy forest levels and classes*" "Oh! Cool!"
Thanks! Yeah, its just that I’ve suspected the stereotype to be somewhat exaggerated, but I didn’t really want to make assumptions about it, since actual girls would probably have more experience about it than I would. Thank you for your input!
