Watching and Dreaming (SPOILERS!!!!!)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! That was so perfect from beginning to end! Here are a few loose thoughts!
Makmark was right: The Collector’s magic really can be resisted by the victim!
The Collector’s pronouns really are “they/them”? I guess I should pay better attention sometimes!
And finally we see them as they truly are: not some malicious trickster, not some maniacal conqueror: but a sad, lonely child.
Titan!Belos makes an excellent end boss.
Yes, everyone deserves kindness, but some people are too thick to feel it.
The Collector learns about death in the worst way possible.
Speaking of which, holy shit, Luz DIED?! There really is some cross-pollination between this show and Amphibia!
“I am both King and Queen: best of both things.” So Titans are hermaphroditic? Does that mean King could (ahem) make more someday?
I love Luz’s transformation. Being part Titan really suits her. Too bad this form is temporary.
I yelled so loud my sister got worried with the return of “Now eat this, sucka!”
And so Belos leaves the world as he entered it: as a miserable, pathetic, inhuman piece of slime.

I was expecting to be in tears over this finale like with Amphibia, but I just got misty-eyed because of how happy it ends.
All of my hopes for the finale got checked off:
*Nobody died except for Belos (at least, he’s the only one who stayed dead)
*Raine and Eda get to have their happily ever after.
*Palistrom trees and the creatures carved from them return to the Isles
*Two-way travel between the Demon Realm and Earth!
I’m really going to miss this show, but it ended perfectly. Now I await my next hyperfixation. Don’t disappoint me, Disney.
