About the Animation Throwdown game
Developed by Kongregate (but if you know my favorite site for online flash games) Animation Throwdown directly displays its ambitions not to get into the big guys but in the course of geeks betting on the theme ... Indeed, Animation Throwdown integrates the cartoon characters: Family Guy, American Dad but also Futurama (which also owns its mobile game), Bob's burgers and The Kings of Texas.
Curious mixture is not it? And yet these series mix black humor, trash side and characters that could perfectly fit into one series or another (it would be missing The Simpsons and South Park and we would be perfect).

The game cheerfully resumes all the characters, mythical objects and various scenes of the corresponding series. the illustrations are simple and are only "catches" of the different series.
But the atmosphere is there because the game is quite fun although very repetitive.
Fun, Repetitive and with all defects of online card games
Unfortunately Animation Throwdown will not stand out for its very basic gameplay (it is forgiven) but especially filled with everything I hate in the online card games:
- You have to play a lot or buy to have some powerful cards
- To advance it is necessary to make levelup of cards
- Game limited in number of games (need to wait or pay)
In short, the prerogative of free to play in all its splendor which considerably weighs the gameplay yet very basic. Animation Throwdown is not a bad game in itself but it happens 3 years too late and has interest only for the fans of these series (as many games will tell you). On the background I love the idea of merge a "beer card" with a card "Peter Griffin" to have a card "Peter stuffed" but the look for fusions is rather surly and hyper repetitive because you will have to redo it for each new card acquired by looking for the right combinations.
