Full Scratch - Freeza

I picked this up a few weeks back from a local shop - huge shoutout to ToysDiva in NY

If you've seen my collection at all, you already know I love Freeza - what a great villain design. The antithesis of Goku and the gang. Rounded edges, lithe, with cold colors and inhuman features.

This figure captures his other-worldly design perfectly, but it's more than that--

First of all, you have First Form Freeza without his chest armor- a one-off occurrence captured in action figure form. I'm a sucker for that.

But more importantly: the gesturing.

It's incredibly expressive. Alien and exaggerated. Diminutive, but exuding aggression.

And add to that the incredible sculpted detail and paint you expect from Banpresto. I'm still regularly surprised what they can put out for $25
