I agree with your madao post.. He's such a good guy and that ep made me cry. I want him to be happy but I don't want him to be with his wife, I don't like her. Am I the only one who feels this way? She left him homeless just because he lost his job and was having trouble instead of staying with him and helping him through. Even though she didn't marry him for money since he was poor at first, but now she can't stay with him? Uhhh I hate her

She did not leave him homeless, she just left him. Plus there’s also the fact that her family opposed her marriage with him, and when he lost his job and refused to commit sepukku, maybe she thought “what if they were right and i shouldn’t be with someone like him” or maybe her family pushed her or something (plus honor has always been a huge deal in Japanese culture…) But well about that we don’t know, what we do know is that they still love each other and care for each other, and for me that’s all that matters.

So the point is that, personally, I like Hatsu. She’s been shown to be a very kind woman who truly loves Hasegawa (that flashback during the Hasegawa prosecution arc? MAN). And if they’re not together it’s not just because of her. If I remember well, Hasegawa has said sometimes that he wants to prove her that he is capable, that he wants to make her happy. And with his current life style I don’t think he believes that is possible.

for the courtesan of a nation arc can you make a gif set of the last episode in that arc the the last scene with Suzuran and Maizou. I haven't been able to find any good gifs of that scene and it's sooo beautiful. please:)
